Sorry, Gina. I forgot you were gone. They cut down a "few" trees here last week, and now they are digging a 30 foot deep hole/trench to bury the city sanitary sewer in. It cuts across our marsh and woods, and ends up in the middle of the street past our driveway.

Yes Bernie! That amazes me too! DH & I were talking about that the other day We were so young when it was actually on we didn't catch any of the innuendo but now it's hysterical to watch. I'm enjoying the old Pyramid shows with Dick Clark.......approx 1/2 of the "guest stars" on there are no longer even seen or heard of...

Gina..Good if you are the city, bad if you are me! Not only do they cut down my trees and dig up my access, but they charge me $10,000 an acre for the priveledge too! I can't even hook up to the sewer if I wanted to!! So let's see.....I have lost many big oak trees, have had impossible inconvenience, get assessed $90,000 and get nothing out of it. They, on the other hand, had everything to gain.

Do you remember Elaine Joyce's husband? His name was Bobby Van & he hosted a show called "Make Me Laugh" she was widowed fairly young....I think he died from a heart attack. He was probably only in his 40's or early 50's.
