Baboo - how did the boys make out on their camping trip this weekend? My son went camping too. Got drenched and then his car alarm went off and wouldn't let him start his car. BIG SURPRISE since none of us, including the slaesman, knew it had a car alarm!!!! It sure scared my son when it went off!! He got a ride home from one of his buddies and we drove back to try to fix it. After driving around for an hour and a half, my son admittedhe was lost. Out in the middle of nowhere. We had to drive to a high point to get a signal on the cell phone to call his buddy, who had NO IDEA where we were or where the camp was! As we backtracked, we managed to find the right road and the car. I had to pull the fuse on the car alarm to get it to let us start the car! Thankfully I had brought the jumper cables because the battery was worn down too. WHEW! What a day! On the bright side, I got to spend some real quality time with my boy.

Julie - I think we're due for a big frost this week! STAY WARM!

It really was, Diane! We were listening to the S.U. football game on the radio and passing the time in some really pleasant conversation. It's been very hard to find time to do that with him....

I was just imagining how DH would react to the situation, and there would not be much quality time with him fretting!

Len's weekend was less than wonderful due in part to the crummy weather and the fact that he was really the only leader there for the whole weekend. The other leaders sort of drifted in and out during the weekend as their time permitted, but Len was stuck for the whole time.
Michael, on the other hand, had a great weekend! He spent it with a young lady that he met last summer and then again this summer. He asked her out during the summer, but she had a boyfriend at the time. This time no boyfriend, so they are going out on a date soon. This will be his first date. My baby (he's 14 LOL) is growing up!
