No great weekend plans here, Gina. We are going to the last regular season games for the Twins and packing the big van for out annual pilgrimage to "Airedale Mecca" iin Philadelphia next week. Our big national specialty show is held at the all terrier show at the Temple University Music Festival grounds there. We haven't missed in 27 years, and have lots of board meetings etc that are necessary for both of us in addition to the shows. The bad thing this year is that we will have to forfeit our Divisional playoff tickets! Sure hope the Twins can finally beat the A's so we get to keep the ALCS tickets!

Gina - I'm hoping to finish putting up a privacy fence this weekend. It looks like I'll be dodging a few raindrops to get it done.

The kindergarten classrooms (2 of them) in our school have a 'cage'. Basically it's a covered area that is attached to the classrooms and is completely surrounded by chain link fence. The kids can get their running around done there pretty much regardless of the weather (cold notwithstanding).

Gina - my kids have all gone through that. One thing I'd caution about is making too big a deal of it. Doing that just seems to add a bit more pressure to the whole situation.

We have baseball, soccer, baseball this weekend...hope the rain finishes up today.
