Good morning riddle buds! My cable modem has been slow ever since our big storms this weekend. It is quite frustrating. I type, but the words don't show up right away!

They are promising us rain for today and cooler temperatures starting tomorrow.

That is what we are sending your way, Ranatra! We had 3 1/2 inches of rain Sunday, and now it is only 69 out this morning. We have had a VERY wet summer. It is good for the farmers, though! Everything is so green this year! I understand most of the country is in a drought, but not here!

Bad thunderstorms in this area on Friday night. Knocked out power to the north and south of us. We remained, thankfully, intact!

Southern NY and NJ got hammered this weekend. Violent T-storms.

It's inevitable for this time of the year. This set of storms was particularly nasty, however.

We need the rain, though. And lots more of it.

Please, Diane. Snowwark and her DH make fun of my accent all the time. ESPECIALLY DH! I called them when they were at Disney in February and they replayed the message several times and hooted over my accent.
