Riddle me this!!! Quick Friday version..

I haven't seen the riddle yet, and it occured to me that maybe no one was scheduled. Here goes a quickie!

What 7 letter word becomes longer when the 3rd letter is removed?

I thought this was a typical Oldkicker type of riddle!

Aren't you a teacher Glo? You should be able to get this one right away! Sorry if I stepped on toes again. I even looked back on yesterday's riddle to see if Gina announced who was doing it today, and found nothing, so I concluded that no one was scheduled. I'll tell you what. If I have to leave (which I probably will before this is over), I'll give you the answer ( if you haven't gotten it on your own by then, and you can post pants.

GOOD MORNING RIDDLERS!

I am having a hard time getting moving this morning. Had a particularly busy day yesterday - and I think I need a "down" day to recoup. Unfortunately, work needs me today - so I will have to try and just pace the day more slowly. (yeah right!)

DD cleaned her room yesterday. This is about a bi-annual event that is something just short of a nuclear waste clean up. I had utensils and bowls surface back to the kitchen that I had not seen in a VERY long time. She did a good job though and even she had to admit it felt MUCH nicer afterwards.

PM sent... off to go get a giant tankard of coffee.

DblD, my DH could use some down time too. He has been burning the candle at both ends these days at work. They are moving a national security call center, and he is the telecommunications expert. He gets calls all hours of the day and night. Wednesday he went to work at 5 a.m. and got home at 5:30 p.m.. By 6:00 he was back on his way to fix another "emergency" caused by someone moving a piece of equipment that wasn't supposed to me moved until next week! That is the way the whole week has gone. He needs a day off BADLY, but it wont happen until this is complete.

DD, I picked up a lot of stuff in DS-14's room while he was away at football camp this week. He may not recognize it when he gets back this afternoon.

Yes, DH has been working WAY too hard this whole year. It is supposed to be completed by September, so the end is in sight! I am so glad we had a LONG vacation this spring. The trouble is that he is not ever REALLY away from work. That darns cell phone seems to be growing out of his ear! When it rings, it usually means a problem. It rang in the middle of the night last night, and he didn't hear it. I did though, and had to get him up.
