Uh oh gang, I woke up with a sore throat today. I am supposed to donate platelets on Saturday, so I think I might have to cancel if this gets worse. This is all John's fault!

I hope you're feeling better L4! I too woke up with a little sore throat today.
Can the platelet donation be postponed? or does it need to be on Saturday?
My DD had a disease when she was 3 that killed off her platelets. She turned into one BIG bruise. The doctors were calling her their "black & blue baby". For a few days they thought she might have leukemia but thankfully it turned out to be something called ITP.

Yes, I can reschedule the platelets, but it is so hard for me to find a time to go that I hate to have to reschedule. They are only open for platelet donations on certain days, and it is usually when I have to work. The good news is they are starting to take platelets right here in Cranberry now so I may have some different days to make appointments.

spb - you must not be a true Connecticut-ian (or whatever they're called!).

Gail, I'll be running around all day so I don't know if I can give you any help with the riddle!

Good morning everyone. I used to Riddle in the morning and Chat in the evening. Now I do both AM and PM. Gets confusing, but doesn't take much.

we used to be the Nutmeg State before changing to the Constitution State .......back in those days some people said we
were Nutmeggers .... does that mean we're spicy ???

I thought it was something like CT isn't part of New England because you're part of the "tri-state area" - Connecticut, New York, New Jersey!!!

Sandy - Do you remember the old Nutmeg Inns....the roadside rest stop/gas station/food places? I think some of the old buildings are still on the Merritt Pkwy but they're not called that anymore!
