That recipe builder is pretty amazing...it's especially nice around the holiday's when you don't want to ammend your traditional choices, but still want to stay on program and make an effort to count your points! It's well worth the investment, but I think between Stephanie and I we've pretty much got it covered for any green-thonged seekers of points calculations on-line!!!!

Is WW hard to do? A friend of mine was curious about it and I had no clue since I do terrible with diets.

I don't think WW is hard to do...and the reason I think that is because nothing is "forbidden" so it's not like really giving anything up...it's making choices about what you choose to eat, and adjusting your diet to fit within those ranges.

I was telling Carol the other day that I'm jealous of everyone who does Atkins because it seems like the pounds just fly off...but I know I could never do it...I'm such a carb queen, I'd feel deprived within hours......

I'm a lifetime member... lost my weight 15 years ago - and all I can say is....this is WAY easier than WW ever was in the last 40 years....very easy to follow.....but the BEST part is, you can really eat the foods you enjoy (vs. diet foods) as long as you figure out the points for it and eat more reasonable portions....HECK....I even had a layered margarita in EPCOT (along with S'mores in Prime Time and Ice Cream 2 days, fried EVERY day with my lunch) and managed to come back having maintained my weight!

and also - we're NOT just doing this temporarily (sad but true)....this is for LIFE....I think that's WAY too long to deprive myself of ANYTHING!!!! I'd rather eat the way I intend to be able to LIVE long term and manage my weight that way!

Congrats on hitting 1600 Stephanie!

It's hard to believe that we're almost to 100 pages.

I lost all of my weight by just watching the amount of all the foods I ate. I was allowed a certain number of portions for each food group every day and just stuck to that. My Dr. was really pleased today with the amount of weight I've lost.

Thanks!!! I think it would be simple to do then. This person has tried the Food Mover and did great with it... something happened, cards were lost and they were wondering if WW was worth it as well. I think they'll do okay since from what I can remember the Food Mover was similar in counting up all types of food, but WW seems even easier since the Food Mover was (I think) put into different groups. I'll tell them to go for it
