I looked up Sylvania on mapquest. It is near Toledo... it looks to be right by it. So it is a bit north of 80 and just west of 475. Just about a 2-2.5 hour drive for me

I have two MANDATORY meetings at work today. They will have lunch for us but it will be pizza or subs or something else I wouldn't choose to be eating because of the points. There lies the dilemma, to eat or not to eat. It sort of looks bad to pack in a lunch. I will just try to make wise choices.

Surprisingly, school was on time today. I thought sure there would be a 2 hour delay. Things are not looking good for tomorrow, however.

If they're doing pizza and sub/sandwich kind of thing, odds are they'll have salad as a side dish....maybe you could just eat a smaller piece of the "main" dish (so you don't feel starving OR out of place) and load up on the salad....that's usually what I end up doing in that kind of situation.... 1/2 a sandwich or pizza is good for 4-5 points depending, and the salad is FREE (for the msot part) so the damage, so to speak, would be minimized!

I have to do the gyno Dr thing today...I am nerved up about going...a follow up on some problems I have...I need to go about every 6 months for a check up... I just don't like having to go to Drs. at all...

I will warn you Donna, Lake Erie is no where near as pretty as Lake Michigan though. It's gotten better over the years but it just doesn't look as nice.

Carol, I think you will do just fine. So far you have shown you have great willpower so hopefully this lunch will have some good stuff for you to pick from. Sounds like Valerie has great advice too.
