DD and I watched The Gilmore Girls. She got me hooked on it. It is a great mother/daughter show. Getting ready to watch Amy in a few minutes.

DS's team lost their hockey game tonight 2-1
now they're off til Friday when they begina 3 day tournament.

Well last night I had to make a few phone calls to people so I think I was kind of busy with that. Don't really watch TV so I can't blame that.

I must say this GS cookie talk has me rather impatient for mine. I might have to go bug him and find out when his daughter's cookies will be delivered.

Carol, I wish I had your willpower. I know I will be eating tons!

Sorry that your DS's team lost, Laura At least he can still go to WDW with you though w/o any trouble

Just sitting here riddling and waiting for the next snow. Guess I'll go to the grocery store today. I need to shop and it is so much fun in the snow panicked mob. NOT!! The pictures of Baltimore show it really snowing there and this storm is coming from that direction.

Gail, it must have been very emotional to visit the site of the RI tragedy...my heart goes out to all affected by it...

Elaine, I know there is probably nothing for me to *ride* at Cedar Point...if I go, it will be knowing I am going to visit with some great people more than going for the rides...if I go, may even skip going to the park altogether....isn't there a beach of some sort close by??

Donna, there is a water park associated with CP and I do think it is right on the beach of Lake Erie so there might be one for you to go to.

Carol, I am so tired of the snow too. We had a two day break. Tomorrow more snow and Saturday/Sunday more snow too I want spring!!!

Gail, I feel just as you do... don't wanna cook. Maybe D'Giorno pizza will be good.

Shoot, I should have bummed my way into Laura's trip too... I have an AP and am dying to go back.

We call that kind of dinner "Carol's Smorgasbord".

It is lightly snowing. Would be considered pretty if I weren't so sick of it. They are calling for 1-3" today, 1-3" tonight, 1-3" Thursday, etc. Supposed to snow on and through mid-day Friday. Total 5 - 10".

On the weight loss front....I lost 0.4 pounds this week. Grand total = 19.8 pounds. Just couldn't quite make the 20 pounds. Hopefully next week. I was dissappointed, but I shouldn't be. It was still a loss, not a gain.

Carol - I am proud of you for your willpower and the great job you are doing with your weight loss! It's not easy, I know.

I think we are supposed to get a few more inches tomorrow. Elaine, let me know when it starts, and I'll know to expect it a few hours later.

Leftovers here tonight also. MIL comes out on Tuesdays to watch the kids after school, so she made a roast. We had the rest of it tonight along with some rice.

Spent my day polyurethaning (sp?) half of the wood work. Not fun at all! My hands are still sticky from that stuff. I went to put the drawers in the chest of drawers today after the paint dried, and I discovered that I needed to paint the sides. I guess I thought the sides wouldn't show when the drawers slid in. I am so sick of my house being a mess - I just want everything to be over and done with! We need to get all of the trim done this weekend so our BIL can come back next week and hang all of the trim and finish the electrical work. I hope we are all done by mid-March or so.

Congrats on that weight loss Carol!!! That is wonderful!!!!

No snow here yet, we are told about the same as what you said Carol. I think the snow is supposed to start tomorrow afternoon and then stop Friday sometime here. Then we have one on Saturday that is supposed to hit (hopefully won't keep us from going to the meet). Then another on Sunday/Monday. We've had two days w/o snow and I loved it!!! Too bad the snow isn't really melting though

Doesn't sound like a fun day at all Laura. I just had an image of my cat stuck to me if I tried to do something like that!!!

Elaine, my dog loves to follow me around everywhere. I had to confine her to a small corner of the room today, or I would have had lovely black dog hairs stuck to everything!
