Hmmmmm.. I'd guess Bernie is passed out by now. . . but the others are probably doing responsible stuff; spending time with their families; eating nutritious dinner. . .
Some people just don't have their priorities straight. . .
Yep, that family stuff does get in the way. My kids actually expect me to feed them tonight? Don't they know we are trying to get the party started? I guess I'll throw something at them, iron a few clothes, and then I'll be ready.
Hey!!! I actully cooked tonight...Something good too, believe it or not, and no one is sick yet...I want a sombrero or a mean margarita....
Ok, I won't add to the confusion, but I am getting a new do tomorrow to celebrate the 5 pounds I lost only 20 more to go and only 180 days to do it....got to look good for RiddleCon
The PD day was great today Have you figured out what it stands for yet OK? One of the students saw us all at breakfast this morning, and then later he was in the school with his mom to get some work, and we were eating again. He says to us...'is that how teachers spend this kind of day.....all you are doing is eating'
So Will....if you are making the drinks..I'll take the usual
I will be popping in and out tonight. I just remembered that I have to turn in the master order form for the Girl Scout cookies tomorrow since I am the Cookie Mom. DD did really well - I will update you soon with her grand total!
I have folded clothes and ironed.......and we actually all went out to dinner together......Macaroni Grill. Now, 2 glasses of wine later, I'm having trouble hitting the right keys!!!
I've never had the priviledge of experiencing cookie sales....except as a girl scout myself....back in the days when the world was in black and white!!!!
DD has not been interested in scouts at all......but DS just finished 5 years of Cub Scouts so I have all sorts of special memories from that!!
He just earned the Arrow of Light a few weeks ago, as a senior Webelo. Unfortunately he's not continuing in Boy Scouts....long story involving another family.....still a sore spot with me. However, we are very proud of him.....he started as a Tiger Cub and ended at the highest level in Cub Scouting.
Good evening everyone. I'll have a cold one please.
Gail, what is this thing called ironing that you do?? Sounds foreign to me.
I was a GS for 11 years. DH was a Boy Scout and made it Eagle. DD was in GS for 8 years but the program isn't as good now. DS went all the way through Cubs from Tiger to Webelos and then did about 2 years of Boy Scouts before he quit. He wasn't crazy about camping and really didn't have any buddies in the troop. We were sorry he quit but if it wasn't fun for him, what was the point.
The fact that DH was an Eagle scout was one of the reasons I was attracted to him.
