Carol, let's make sure our DH's get together to chat at RiddleCon! I think my DH is getting freaked out that I am meeting all of these great new people and he thinks he won't have a soul to talk to at RiddleCon. He is kind of quiet at first, but if someone gets him started on a conversation about something he is really interested in, like scouts, sporting memorabilia, or bobbleheads, then he doesn't know when to shut up!

Sorry Boo'sMom, just noticed your earlier post. Unfortunately, the Girl Scouts don't get to apply their profits toward individual goals - everything goes into their general troop fund. At least that's how they do it here. Also, my son's Cub Scout pack does the same thing for popcorn sales where it goes into the general fund. My nephew gets to apply his $ towards his camp, which I think is a great idea. Good job on your DS's popcorn sale. That is a lot!

Laura, sounds like a good idea to me. I mentioned it to DH and he is concerned that your DH may be a Steelers fan which doesn't sit well with a Baltimore Colts and Ravens fan. But, I am sure they can stay away from controversial topics like that.

Too bad we can't join you guys. We're Red Sox/NE Patriots fans here but as long as you're not a Yankee fan you're fine with us!

Steelers fun fact - I actually spoke with Jerome Bettis about 4 years ago. He called the insurance company I work for (on our toll-free line of course!) to ask about his policy. I figure I was probably one of the few in my office who even knew who he is!!!

My job is pretty sickening - I do the payroll for everyone. I get to pay the lowly office workers (such as myself! ) all the way up to the players. It is not fun to look at their checks!
