I missed another evening here DH came home and wanted us to meet a friend of his for a late dinner. This is a buddy of his from work who I've only met once & tonight I got to meet his wife. She was very nice & we got along fine I'm always a little nervous when we do things like this because what if I didn't like her Usually that's not a problem because I can usually find something good about everybody but once in a while..........you just never know.

Well, since it seems everyone is sleeping

Hey Guys...guess what I did this morning?????
Convinced DH that our next Disney trip in October should be 10 days....wwwwwwooooooohoooooooo....

actually, if the truth be known....he said "we really need to get planning our next Disney trip".....he never says that....lol......
we knew we were going Oct-Dec range because our APs expire on 11/10, so we were debating between Wilderness Cabins and the Polynesian again.....off hand I said to him "we could always go for 10 days and spend 5 at each..." he jumped right on that bandwagon......probably because 10 days will give him some time to golf......

I'm so excited...I love to plan trips.....

That is so awesome...Can I come? I will only make it to WDW for a few days this year if I am lucky, but I am going to tour the US with my girls

Have a great time..I loved the Poly, but never stayed at the Cabins, they looked awesome when we went to the Hoop De doo in Dec. people had them decorated with lights...Have a great time.

Stephanie, that will be so nice. That is the time of year I like to go but now I can't take the kids out of school for that long since they are in high school. We went once for 8 days and it was so nice because we felt we could take our time and do things like enjoy the hotel (Dixie Landings) more.

Gail, Congratulations on 1600 posts. Won't be long before you hit 2000.

I'll be around...no plans here...we were going to go out for dinner and listen to a friend perform...but the weather is crappy...freezing rain....and we took the younger two darlings out for lunch while we were running errands.

I agree Stephanie....9:30 is a late time for a hockey game. I'm glad it's a weekend night this time. We did have one on a school night at that time & I really didn't like it. Luckily Matthew is pretty easy to get up in the morning.

I hate ironing too!!!

I'm so glad my boys never got into hockey...lol......seems like all the hockey families I know are more familiar with their car seats than anything else.....

I do all the ironing for DH....I "used" to send everything out when I "worked", but now I guess it comes under my job description......

DH is thinking about re-enlisting in the Reserves, he has been out for 3 years, and has been offered an excellent opportunity at the military academy as a reservist.....he has 10 years in, and with 10 more in he would get a full military pension....I'm not sure what he'll decided........ Before kids, he was a drill instructor and mountain warfare instructor...so the job is right up his alley.....I guess I'd rather have him do this than some of the other things he's been trained to do.

It's a whiskey and ginger night.....where is Willy???
