Ha! I never DID figure out if he was serious about those durn pig's feet!!! :)

We miss you Rich... The newbies around here just can't imagine what they're missing!!!

I totally think about Rich when at BWV. Once we were in 3121 way down at the MGM end of the building. Boy did I recall his posts then. And the one about pig's feet had me laughing out loud.

Good memories...

Wow, that's a lot of thinking!

How could I resist that when it's a thread about Rich? ;)

I think that one just did Rich proud!

And to think...I was just posting in another thread how much I miss his posts!!

Here's to one of "All-Star Hall of Fame Disers"!! :drinking1

You are VERY missed!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICH!!!!!

Here's to pig's feet cooking in the OKW GV's!! ;)

May you rest in peace at the Haunted Mansion and at your beloved OKW.

Sometimes I wonder what Rich's take on SSR would have been. :lmao: People complained about resort bashing on these boards and all I could think was boy, do I miss Richyams!!!! :rotfl:

So, if you smell pigs feet cooking at OKW, THAT'S RICH. If you feel someone silently taunting you as you trek along to your room at the end of the hall at BWV, THAT'S RICH. And if you ever thought, hey - why dont we have a debate board anymore?, THAT'S RICH! :teeth:

Lisa and Jacqui - You are in all our thoughts today. :grouphug: He must have been so much more fun in person than on-line. He was passionate and inspired passion in others. People seemed to have either hated him to death or loved him. I guess you both must have been nuts about him.

Happy Birthday. I hope they served Pigs Feet in Heaven today!

Can't say much more than has already been said. Happy Birthday up there in heaven Rich!

From a fellow OKW'er!

I miss how Rich LOVED to push people's buttons. :thumbsup2

I miss sitting back and reading all the reactions to his strong opinions. popcorn::

I miss that unique sense of humor he had. :lmao:

Best wishes to you, Lisa and Jacqui.

I bet rick is in heaven discussing WDW issues with Walt.

Sure do miss his post

Happy Birthday, Rich! We miss you, and somehow I think you are still looking down at us and having a forever WDW/OKW vacation!

Course then I often think about being able to sit on the BWV deck while being able to reach into the kitchen for a cold drink :teeth:

i think of that line often, it made me laugh out loud the first time i read it.

it's rare that one poster can have such an effect on a big board, but he did. he is much missed.

Happy Birthday, Rich! Things aren't the same without you!

:bday:

Beth - He was totally serious about the pigs feet :rotfl: That was truly his favorite meal, much to the dismay of me and my daughter. The whole house (or unit, whist vacationing) would reek of garlic whenever he made them...boy, what I wouldn't give to smell that *aroma* once again!

Thanks to everyone for remembering Rich...means the world to me and Jacqui - and I know that Rich is grinning ear to ear from wherever he is :)

Lisa

Thanks for reminding us all of such a unique character. There's just no way to describe his sense of humor, and I'm glad I could experience it.

I'm new to the DVC portion of the boards so regretfully I didn't get the chance to read his posts while they were happening but after everyone's fond memories I did a search and read some of his old posts. Here is one that just made me bust out laughing.

You forgot to mention the health related benefits.....

The ability to do 1/3 of a marathon at the beginning and end of each day trekking to the room. The kitchen being so small it doesn't hold enough food to over eat. To say nothing of the flexing exercises you can do by cleaning an entire BWV one bedroom unit standing in one place.

I'm on your side, just trying to help point out the benefits of BWV.

:rotfl:

When I first saw this thread my heart skipped a beat. I thought for a split second that maybe he wasn't gone. :guilty: I miss his threads too. He was so good at cutting through the BS. Here's to Rich, OKW and grandvillas. :thumbsup2

You will never ever be forgotten by me Rich...I think of you every time I am at the pool at OKW and lift my glass in a silent toast...

Take care Lisa & Jacqui
