Richard Pryor passes away

Oh, wow! He had MS for years. How sad.

Very, very sad--loved his movies.....so it was MS he had....my 29 y.o. brother was just diagnosed with MS last week

My dad was a huge Richard Pryor fan. I remember watching Brewster's Millions with him and laughing the whole time. For years, I would think of a way to spend money without having assets (the plot of the movie) and I'd have to tell him when he got home and we'd both laugh about it. He'll be missed.

Howabout The Toy... with Jackie Gleason. I loved that movie when I was a kid.

May Richard RIP and Rise In Glory.

In Jesus' Holy Name. Amen

Not only a great entertainer, but an important one.
Pryor once marveled "that I live in racist America and I'm uneducated, yet a lot of people love me and like what I do, and I can make a living from it. You can't do much better than that."

This is very sad news. I love watching his movies especially Stir Crazy and Bustin' Loose. It's a tragedy for his family to be sure.

RIP Richard.

Loved his stand up he was really funny. :guilty: :rotfl: Also, my favorite movie is "The Silver Streak" with Gene Wilder, they made a great comedy pair. :goodvibes
