Richard Petty review...

Just back, promised to post a review for those interested but I can't because DH's day was a rain out !

He opted for the rain check and will do it this spring at our track here in Mich. They said it is a better experience being a 2 mile oval vs. the one mile at Disney (more driving and faster).

He could have rescheduled for Saturday but it was our last day and he wanted to park hop with us. They were very nice at the track and gave him a ride around the pits and track in a van then drove him back to the BWI.

They told him in a way he was lucky the weather was a clear cut rain out because if it is iffy, they will keep you there trying to squeeze the session in or they ask you to come back in the afternoon! For us the rain tapered off by 10:00 so we headed into MGM for the day, it would have been a bummer to be sitting around the track all day waiting!

Awwwww that's too bad but a least he still gets to do it !

This is kind of my worry. As we are not going to be vacationing again for awhile. We have been traveling A LOT for the last 3 years. Once our next Disney vacation is up. It's time to save for a new house. I figure we have to nix any and all vacations for 2 years . We will have 1 free day left after his scheduled day, so here's keeping my fingers crossed the scheduled day goes w/o a hitch.

Kilee, the rain check is good for one year and can be used at any participating speedway. That took the pressure off DH and that is why he decided to park hop with us.
