We are eating at 3 new places this trip. Chef's De France, Liberty Tree Tavern and breakfast at Rainforest at AK. Any thoughts or reviews would be appreciated. TIA

I loved Chefs my last trip, we were on the DDP and I had the Tarte a la flamme Alsacienne it was AMAZING! Like a very thin crust almost cracker type pizza...yummo. I had the tilipia fish sandwich that was just ok didnt really wow me. Fir dessert I had the Crepe a la pomme et cannelle, glace vanille, caramel jus de pommes - Crepe filled with cinnamon, apple, vanilla ice cream and apple caramel sauce It was realy really good. My fiiends ordered a 3 course lunch thing ... but they had the mac and cheese and said it was fabulous. OPverall I really like this restauraunt. The waiters and hostesses are a little snooty but we did'nt let it bother us. Oh and the rat from ratituole was there and tooo cute.:goodvibes

As for LTT dont go with high expectations... its basically like tv dinner fair. It was good but very basic.

Have a great trip!:cool1:

We were at Chefs de France last fall and I am still raving about the French Onion Soup,, and Remy

Chefs is amazing anytime.
Liberty Tree is really good with huge portions for lunch.
Rainforest was not the best when we tried the one in Disney, but there is one in atlantic city, nj that is really good lol :)

We love Chefs de France (its a must place to eat for our family)
LTT - it was good
Rainforest - we ate lunch there and it was ok

LTT was delicious. Definitely get the fried cheese b/c those lil nuggets are simply amazing. The Pilgrim's Feast is good as well. And the Ooey Gooey Toffee cake is hands down the best dessert in all of Disney World. :thumbsup2

The dining reports section has tons of reviews - I'm sure you could find a lot of information there. :)

Chefs is our first night must do every trip. We make a 7pm ressie, have a nice leisurely dinner, enjoy our first creme brulee of the trip, and then find a spot for Illuminations at 9! The filet is AHHHH-mazing! Enjoy!

Never been to LTT. I've always wanted to go but DH is not impressed by the menu.

I have not been to the RFC at AK, however I have been to 3 different RFC in 3 different cities, and they all sucked. But some people LOVE LOVE LOVE them, so make your on decision on that one. I personally would try to get Donald's breakfast at Tusker House instead if you are able.

I love CDF for lunch but not for dinner...it was like night and day from delish to disgust

Tried LTT for the first time last Nov for lunch and we LOVED IT! The food was excellent and tasted like a nice comfort food home cooked meal.

RFC is ok, we have been to many of them in other states as well as DTD and the atmosphere is fun but the food is like a TGIF or Chili's kind of place
