Peacock suites or Castle inn?
anyone with any info would be wonderful. thanks!

Basic cheapo hotel. I would stay at the Anaheim Plaza next door personally. Huge pool I think kids eat free with a paying adult ( breakfast) a little bit closer but not much

Stayed at Peacock Suites years ago. Was OK, didn't love it. As I recall it was quite a walk compared to others in a similar price and review range.

Which one are you talking about here? LOL I'm assuming CI because the Peacock isn't next door to the AP. :)

Castle Inn, we stayed there over Pres. weekend this year, we HATED it, the service sucked, the room wasn't quite clean (questionable hairs, floors were sticky/dirty) the front desk staff was very rude, one of them yelled at my DD over the phone when she called to ask about WiFi for her DS, we asked multiple times for "extra" towels, we had 6 people in our room and only 4 towels, how is that right?? We asked 3 times for towels, we never got them. We finally just took them from a maid cart ourselves, that was after being assured they would "deliver towels to the pool area" for us, we waited an hour and they never came, the girls had to share 2 towels between the 4 of them...and this was in FEBRUARY, that would be a problem in the summer but it was cold and rainy and they didn't bring us towels! None in the pool area either...it was pretty lame. We won't stay there again, we will stay farther away and drive in every day if we have to to avoid staying at the CI.

Peacock is nicer, Peacock is actually a timeshare hotel, they are owned by Shell (or SVC) and as owners we've stayed there quite a few times. The staff is nice, the rooms are decent sized. We have had problems there but it's normally with people in rooms around us, not with the staff. Keep in mind if you're driving Peacock has mandatory valet, they will not let you park your own vehicle. The lot is very small and the valets are very good at squeezing too many cars into the lot. LOL We've never had any vehicle damage from them tho, they are great! The room at Peacock will have a fridge/micro/coffe pot/2 TV's (some have flat screens)/DVD players/and dishes, they do ask that you wash up after yourself regarding the dishes but they are nice to have.

Between your 2 choices, I would go Peacock for sure!

we stayed at Peacock last year as Shell Vacation club owners. It is nice. It has free continental breakfast (your basic oatmeal, pastries and cereals). The Anaheim shuttle runs there if you don't want to walk to the park. It was nice, nothing overly spectacular.
