OHANA's 7/5
Got to Ohana at 6:10 for 6:20 PS. Was given a beeper and sat in lounge. Just after we ordered drinks we beeped. Hula contest was beginning so DD8, DS5, and DD3 got right into the action. The appetizers were brought to the table and we enjoyed each of them Kids and DH really liked the wings, I enjoyed the shrimp wonton (Ithink that's what it was) and the green salad. The meats and shrimp were all very good. Would have enjoyed the shrimp more if they were already peeled, but I guess they leave the shells on for flavor. There was turkey, pork steak and shrimp. DH thought the steak was somewhat tough, but thought the turkey and pork were very good. Seconds and thirds were brought to the table without having toask. Towards the end of the meal, the coconut races began and again the kids loved to get involved. WE loved the pineapple dipped in caramel and the kids had the snow cones in a pail.

Counter service at GF. BLT was very good The bacon was cooked very well-the way I like it. Kids had chicken fingers and fries and ate them all!!!

We loved this show!! it was our first time and DH and DD8 could not stop laughing the entire show. I booked a year in advance so our table was in the front next to the stage. Most jokes were over the head of DS5 and DD3 but they enjoyed the physcial humor. The fried chicken was good and the ribs were OK. The sides dishes were beans and corn which were OK. The strawberry shortcake dessert was really good!!! The server was kind enough to give us take out cups for our beer which we enjoyed on the bus ride home. Would definitely recommend this show--it was alot of fun!!!!

We're looking forward to trying both 'Ohana and HDDR for the first time in December.
