Review of the Rose and Crown Dining Room

DO you think they will add restrooms for the dining area? It wasn't the most convenient to take down the rope and make your way through the pub to the lavatories.

My DH and I have PS for 7:30 PM on our first full day in WDW! I hope to be able to snag one of those outdoor tables and watch Illuminations from there! That would be quite MAGICAL!! Keep your fingers crossed!!

Nice review... I've always avoided the RnC to be honest though - too cheesy for me (coming from the UK), but the food doesn't sound too bad. The chips at WDW are never going to be as good as the chips we have back here in Scotland... guess you'll just have to come over if you want the real deal!

For anyone thinking about nipping into the RnC for a quick bite, if you don't fancy the fish and chips, the pub does sausage rolls... don't know if that's what they're called in the states, but they're basically small rolls of sausagemeat wrapped in puff pastry, served hot with a little tub of HP to dunk in. I've seen them in shops in the US, but never tried any as good as these when I've been over.

Do you know what fish they use in the fish and chips? I doubt it'll be haddock, but wondered if it was cod or some other, more easily available fish.

My DH always wanted to try this place, so we did last September - loved it so much, we were there 4 times in one week! And I'm not usually a fish eater but we got the fish and chips one time, and it was delicious. Looking forward to going back this September.
