Just thought I'd review the place we stayed on our recent trip to DL . . . we stayed at the Camelot Inn and we would definately go back there. My brother had stayed at the BWPPI and thought the Camelot's room were a bit nicer(my 2 brothers and their families came on our trip with us and both got the suites and loved them -- very spacious). Anyways, my family got the standard room and it was always spotless, great housekeeping all four nights we were there. The walk is like 7 minutes to the gates at DL -- loved being so close! So, it met my two main expectations: Cleanliness and close to DL. There was a mini fridge in the room which is nice to keep bottled water, etc in.
The only drawback was the lame continental breakfast. There were a few muffins and pastries (which looked a bit bland and dry), cheap-o cereals -- *generic* cornflakes and cherrios, apples and oranges, and milk, coffee, hot chocolate and juices. My kids thought the muffins were great and were excited about the hot chocolate LOL. I saw quite a few moms filling up empty water bottles with juice to take to DL with them. I ended up bringing my Kashi and Fiber One granola bars and had one for breakfast every morning, as I passed on the continental breakfast (but fine for kids).
We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was great about bringing something to the room if you needed it (crib, etc). One night our remote control didn't work for the T.V. -- they were up in an instant and replaced batteries immediately. Great service and very clean. Thumbs up from us!
