Reversing deposit and paying with gift card

I have a reservation at Hilton Head for 10/21 - 10/23 that I made with a deposit on my credit card. I would love to reverse that deposit on my credit card and place it with my gift card. Is there any possible chance this can be done?

Who is your reservation with? Is it a DVC rental?

No it is a cash reservation with Disney. I just went ahead and cancelled it, then immediately re-booked it with a gift card. It was easy peasy.
