Hi! I'll be coming to Orlando in September - 14th visit from the UK!

Anyway, I haven't been since October 04, and I was wondering if you could help me out.

See, I'm a big guy. I'm 6ft 4, and about 320. Oh and 18! My only concern is the Mummy, because I've read reports of people not fitting. Now when I went back in 04, I was about 6ft, and 260 (I have a bad medical condition which is getting better, going to the gym every day now!) and it was fine.

I'm not concerned about Duelling Dragons or the Hulk, mainly because they terrified me! :rotfl2:

Anyway, I'm not particularly *fat* as such, as in tubby. I have broad shoulders and a wide chest. I'm just big really.

Do you reckon I'll have a problem with the seats

Cheers!

:thumbsup2 :cool1:

Try the test seat out front and if you fit, you should be fine to ride. They will most likely place you in the back row because of the leg room.

Thanks for the replies!

I'm probably worrying over nothing, I don't have a "wide load" or anything. :happytv:

I'm sure I'll be fine.

Will just put the extra work in until then.

Op, you should be fine, with the weight. I think your knees will be scrunched up a bit though. I am 6' and my knees hit the back of the seat, I am riding behind. I hear the bigger seats are in the back. Don't be discouraged go, you will love it!!

When I went at my heaviest I was able to ride ROTM. I had about a 48" Waist. I've also heard the back row has a little bit more room. I hope that helps out.

We just got back and I was barely able to ride the Mummy. I wear size 48 pants and they had to force the bar down on me which made the ride very uncomfortable. I fit in the seat outside just fine but inside was a different story.

In the test seat, did you follow the instructions and have both legs together,or was one outside the bar (which would be incorrect and against Safety)?

Also, were you in the front or back? These make a huge difference.

Thought I'd bump this seeing as I finally made it to Orlando 8 months later than planned -

every ride was a breeze. Didn't do Hulk but the seat was fine, buckled in.

so glad you came back to let us know.

we can use this as a reference for others that have the same or similar question then.

so the mummy turned out good for you
which row did you sit in?

Last row. I actually asked for one with more legroom and they said that would be the best row "all round". Had to click the bar in one more time when they asked but it was fine, no discomfort.

Serious air on that ride.

mummy rules...........

did you try the table and push the button in the regular line for the ride?

it's awesome!

Of course!

My 14th visit to Florida but first in 4 years so I was going to do every little thing that I could.

Amen to that! I'm glad you didn't have discomfort; I'm not too oversized, but when they click the bar down a little too far on me it HURTS! Airtime + too-tight lap bar = intense pain.

Yeah wasn't an issue. Probably helped that in the 2 weeks before we went there I'd been swimming and walking every day and lost 4 inches off the waist!!
