Revamped Steak House at the Contemporary?

Hey everybody! A friend of mine mentioned that she thought one of the restaurants at the Contemporary was being revamped and would be a steak house. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

My husband is a big steak fan and I thought I might surprise him with a reservation there when we go to Disney World in September.

I assume she means the Concourse Steakhouse which is closing next month. A new restaurant named The Wave will be replacing it (not replacing it in the same location, just replacing it as the second table service restaurant at that resort), and while I have not heard that The Wave will be a steakhouse, it's rumored that a lot of Concourse's menu will be brought down to the new restaurant.

It WAS a steak house. Now it will be "American cooking blended with world flavors"

Uh oh, I made a reservation today, but if it's going to be a steakhouse (same menu as Concourse) I'll probably cancel it.

Concourse is closing sometime in June. We ate there a couple of weeks ago, and it was really good. There have been several threads about the wave on here, as well as a posting of a menu. You might check out the menus on Allears.net. I think it was posted there.
