I was part of the MB/FP+ testing in October had a free dining package at POR. Liked it, no complaints.
So I have a trip planned in March. Different Resort, different sort of reservation.
I am staying at ASsp. I am staying on a RO winter rate. I went ahead and bought my ticket thinking I wanted to use FastPass+ again if this resort used them by the time I went. (both the ticket and my RO show up on my invoice from Disney Destinations)
I had to go on MDE today and I wanted to look at something and I get the pop up to customize my MB.
Sure enough my spring reservation to Sports is listed and it has me listed with a new MB. I went ahead and customized it (different color this time) because I really do like the FP+ options.
I guess I just assumed with a MB linked to my account (and yes my blue one from October is still there) they would just use it again instead of giving me a new one. I am assuming it is because they cannot reset my RFID from Florida. LOL
What a waste of resources. It makes no sense not to reuse a band if 1. it is still in working order and 2. it is still in my possession.

. The full roll out only started 3 months ago and the other tests were sporadic, so only true disney fans actually have them already and will be going back soon. As things progress there will probably be an option to opt out of new bands if you already have them, but that will be when a higher percentage of guests actually have them.
