Just got the Disney Files Magazine in the mail today. Read the article pertaining to Reunion Station...$50a night for adults and $33 a night for kids ages 3-9. And that this "option is available only for the entire length of stay and for every member of the traveling party. It is "designed to serve as a private lounge with foods and beverages by morning and evening, a center for paid workshops and activities by midday, and relaxing (complimentary!) retreat for Members by night. Any thoughts? IMO, I think it's expensive.

I haven't received my Disney Files yet, did they have a start date?

Club Level Lite. If you look at it that way, it ends up being not dissimilar to the pricing difference between something like Poly Standard and Poly Club.

If they provide alcohol, 4 drinks + an app = $50 of value, more or less. If the drinks are good, you won't feel pain.

At AKV, the difference between a standard studio and a club studio ranges from 6 to 10 points per night. IMO, depending on how you value your points, $50 per night seems to be in the same ballpark as far as pricing goes.

More than I would care to spend, but then I am not interested in club rooms at all.

For two adults in a studio it would be $100 (+ tax?). One could rent CCV points at $15pp, making the upgrade cost 7 points. Not unreasonable. So hurry up, "not unreasonable" pricing doesn't last long at Disney.
Will it be available only for those staying at CCV or BRV as well?

$50 per night per reservation would be a deal, but $50 per adult and $33 per child so for a family of 4 and extra $166 per night. I have not read the article yet, but for those who are staying at a different resort, committing to going here every day would be a real inconvenience. Maybe if they just offered a 3 day pass or something that people could use for a few days during their trip - like a FP that could be added on to their magic band. It will be interesting to see how it all rolls out and the response.

Agree, but I was thinking more of couples. $100 per night ($50 per night per person) seems comparable to the point premium charged for club level at AKV. IMO, neither is a deal. Again, I personally don't place much value on club services, especially as they might pertain to children. YMMV. (I'm not the target market, for sure, LOL).

I was under the impression that the reunion station was for people staying either at Boulder Creek or Copper Creek Villas. It would cost us $150 a day with two adults and a teenage boy. I would rather spend some of that money on a couple of nice sit-down dinners , although my teenage son could probably get his money worth and then some with the way he's eating these days!!!

It may be restricted to CCV and BRV in the beginning but like TOTWL, if Disney doesn't get enough takers, they will open it up to all DVC. It's all about making more money.

:earsboy: Bill

Just got a little more info on Reunion Station...

INFO Regarding the PAID CL:

7am-10am - Continental Breakfast

4pm-6pm - Beer, Wine, and light appetizers (such as cheese, soup, salad and dessert)

She doesn’t believe alcohol will be served beyond those hours. No afternoon snacks, like other CL lounges offer.

Aside from the Paid Lounge:

11am-3pm - Open to all CCV/BRV DVC members for paid experiences

7pm-10pm - Open to all CCV/BRV DVC members. She said it’s not definite what they’re doing, but believes it will be a ‘mix and mingle’ time for CCV and BRV owners to hang out.

I received this information from DVC Guest Services.

Hoping "paid experiences" means some fun arts and crafts type projects for the kids. I can see us going there for that, but the $50/pp CL offering doesn't appeal to us (not big drinkers and not likely to get our money's worth).

we are going to be there in April, 2 adults one teen. No thanks on that cost. Although we are DVC, we dont own at BRV or CCV. This is for sure a money grab, gross. I was hoping it would be a community hall, but guess those dont make money.

It seemed to be headed that way when it all started. Then someone apparently decided they should try and monetize it. :sad2:

I can't think of any reason why we would ever sign up for it while staying there. Give me an air hockey table or pool table or some other community hall things anytime over this.

So in October we have a 2 bedroom with 6 adults and 1 child. Seems like the cost would be $333 per day. This just seems absurd to me. Am I missing something?

AKV CL in the beginning of Dec. is only $44 per night difference (Dues cost) for a CL vs S room. That is for all 4 of us.
You'd have to factor in a cost for the points used or use the market value of the points, not just the dues on those points, to get a true cost.
