Reunion resort - recent stays? Vs Lighthouse Key?

Hello,

We have placed a deposit on a 3 BR villa through the resort (not an owner) in April. Has anyone stayed at a resort-owned villa recently (last 6 months)? If so, how was it? I am very picky about cleanliness, etc. Were the carpets, furnishings, linens, etc, clean and in good shape?

We stayed at Lighthouse Key about 3 years ago and loved it - it was brand new, beautifully appointed and I am torn about whether to try Reunion or go back to Lighthouse Key. The advantage that I see over Lighthouse Key is the water park for the kids, and more of a "resort" feel with on-site restaurants, pools, playgrounds for the kids, etc.

If anyone can offer any insight, that would be great! Thanks in advance.

Love Reunion Resort. You may be able to get a better price going through a Wyndham owner. Wyndham owners have access to the 3BR villas wih their points.
