Recently (about two days ago) I bought DLR park tickets from a retail Disney Store in a local mall. Within the last day, DLR announced the Southern California 2-fer deals, for which one of my family members is eligible, and which would save more than $50 per ticket (see, active thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2049831). Apparently the retail store tickets are non-returnable/non-refundable. However, I spoke to a CM today who gave me a PO Box address for DLR to mail my current tickets along with an explanation that I found a lower rate so that I can receive a refund.

Does anyone have any experience with successfully returning unused and unexpired tickets to the ticket office via mail to receive a refund? I was just wondering if it is simply a matter of sending in your tickets and waiting for your check or if they exercise wide discretion in granting such refunds and there is a good chance you might receive a letter saying, "Sorry, but...". Thanks.
