Returning something bought with Kohls cash?

Can I return something I bought with Kohls cash? Would they give me store credit, put it on my Kohls credit card or is it a wash like expired Kohls cash?

If you are making a return or price adjustment on an item you bought with Kohl's Cash®, the value of the Kohl's Cash®coupon will be returned as a Kohl's Merchandise Credit.
