Which page is needed to be notarized and returned? I cannot find it for the life of me. How long until fedex will email the prepaid labels?

Are you financing? If not, then there is no notary needed.

Papers that need it will have a specific line and language on it. It’s pretty hard to miss so I am thinking you don’t need it or it’s missing.

There was something in the DocuSign documents to click and it opened a separate document. That separate document had a cover page with info and then the page that needed to be notarized was next. That's the only thing I printed out (plus the FedEx label).

My FedEx label email came within a day of my DocuSign email. Also, I got one other email - the notary papers may have been within that email, but I'm pretty sure it was in the DocuSign document.

You can try to hit ctrl+f within the document and search for notary and see if that helps locate it.

Thanks for sharing. Having to get something motorized as buyers of direct..unless financing..must be new as we did not need to do it last year.

My experience as buyer: I received a closing email from the title company contact with 7 attached pdf files. An instruction/checklist, 4 sign and returns (no notary), copy of deed papers for my own records (to be signed & notarized by seller), and a FedEx return label.

I'm looking at buying some points direct and the language on the first page of the contract just says may need a physical signature and notary. But none of the pages in my contact needed to be printed and physically signed. We aren't financing, so if financing that might make a difference.

I am not financing

Did you finance? I did that through the doc and nothing.

@poofyo101 - you probably don't need anything notarized then. The page I needed to get notarized was a "short form mortgage."

I am financing so I can keep my cash fluid right now.

I’ve added on a couple times direct with no financing. I’ve done it through DocUSign and have never needed to print or notarize anything. I think you’re good to go!
