Return Trip in 2018, Is possible?

I am going to WDW solo this September. I have a 9 day park hopper plus tickets. I planning my return trip for May 2018 when I will be going with my friend and her 3 year old son.

The bounce back offer won't help us since we want to go in early May. My plan is to convert my 9 day ticket to an annual pass when there in September. Using the AP discount to book a room for a week in early May when the discounts come out, then use the AP option to add the dining plan for 2 adults, 1 child. Purchase the additional tickets for my friend and her son from undercover tourist and then link them and their tickets to my reservation. Is that do able?

AP room rates usually come out later than other discounts. Here is a web site that list historical discount rates.

Just move down till you see 2017 rates listed.

It will give you an idea when they come out and how much is the discount.

This announcement came out on the 14th. I could not find any space for my Nov. dates.

I had to call since I won't be buying my AP till Nov. After that, I should be able to see AP rates online.

It look like last year the AP discount for the right time period came out in mid January a couple of weeks after the general public discount for same period. I want to shoot for 35% discount since we want to stay at AKL.

What I need help confirming is I can get the dining plan added on with no tickets purchased if I'm a AP. If the general public discount is 30% for deluxes, may just do a room only reservation as a backup for AP discount.

Click on Annual packages icon, or move about 1/2 down. Looks like APers must pay for dining in packages, but can be applied to AP resort discount rooms.
Free dining packages, you must buy a ticket for each person, even if you have an AP. (unless I read it wrong!)
