11 more days until we go...thanks for holding me over.

The noise level in this place makes Rainforest Cafe look like the public library. Normally, it’s set to 11, but when the meteor shower hits, it’s set to stun.

Oh. Mah. Gawd. I love you now. Look under my name over there. Conner even has a onesie that says "I go to eleven".

You got some great fireworks shots over the castle. Thanks for sharing them. And I agree with you about the Rainforest Cafe food, it's just not good. DS loves the decor, so we just take a walk through and then eat elsewhere, although I must say that the Sparkling Volcano is a really good dessert, and it comes with a sparkler-thingy in it! Why do I always end up eating chocolate after reading this report?

Whoa! That dessert at TRex...lol
You got some really good firework pics. Sounds like you guys had a great evening.

Oh Carrie, your wishes pics are delightful!! What kind of camera do you own?? Love the lanyards and pins! So fun!

Poor lobsters :sad2: I don't eat lobster for that very reason. (Not that they show them off - but how they cook them after they show them off). Last time Will and I went to Red Lobster, I stopped at the tank in the entryway on our way out, and told them - "Run while you still can!!"

The fireworks pictures are great! Don't you hate it when you get a great one, and the castle is crooked? :headache: If I had my way, I'd watch them every time. We've been to DL with Will's family a handful of times, and they've all seen the fireworks like 50,938 times in their lives, so they skip it - along with Fantasmic. Why would you skip it?! Last time, I went to watch both by myself :snooty:

Oh joy! Oh bliss! Oh rapture! Look at the bajillion fireworks pics! Is it wrong that I could hear the "Wishes" song in my head whilst looking through the pics? That's not wrong, is it?

Love the ice cream brick at T-Rex and the quippy pics. It saves me from having to eat there. Although, if I'm ever at WDW with my Rainforest Cafe lovin' pal, I'm sure he'll drag us over there to gawk. Sigh.

LOVE the fireworks photos! I agree; watching from Main street is the best place; it's a whole different show. :goodvibes

Sounds like you guys had a great evening! We avoided T-Rex as I thoughout it might send us into a meltdown from sensory overload, but that nice, er, light dessert looks like it might be worth braving the cacaphony for! :thumbsup2

Love the Wishes photos! My DS is scared of the fireworks so we always leave before all the nighttime shows. I LOVE looking at the pictures to see what I'm missing!

We just went to T-Rex. I whole-heartedly agree about the noise level! The food wasn't too bad though. Depends what you get. I ordered the Tuna appetizer and it was very very tastey!! Light but filling and just enough food. DH had the steak and cheese sandwich. It was typical chain restuarant food. But still tastey. The only thing I could complain about was we were there f o r e v e r! Slowest service which I thought was odd considering they try to turn over the tables very quickly. We caught 3 meteor showers and all we ordered was 1 course!

Great firework pictures! How many did you end up taking ? We had like 200 and I only liked maybe 10 of those!

Looking foward to reading about your anniversary day, what a nice surprise from your wedding planner.

After eating at Rainforest Cafe in MI when I see resturants like that and TRex I just think of the noise levels. Great pics though!

Awwwwwwww, I loved reading about your romantic dinner (we never sit side by side at restaurants-maybe we should give it a try:thumbsup2 ).

Wooo hooo for Wishes. :woohoo: Great photos & I am glad you watched it from inside the park. It really is a great show. We never did get to see the fireworks at DL from in front of the castle......only from Fantasmic viewing area & from our room at the Grand. It kept getting cancelled because of wind. :sad2:

Wow that dessert at TRex looks mammoth. :lmao:

Yippee for cool new pins!!!!!!!!!!

Bring on the best anniversary eva! popcorn::

What kind of camera are you all using (besides the iPhone)? The pics are awesome.

Carrie! I usually lurk around your trip report but I have to say your review and pictures of TRex made me CRACK up out loud here at work. Everyone in my office thinks I'm crazy! :rotfl2:
Can't wait for another update.

My laptop is off being fixed, so I am extremely behind. I love all the shots from your day in Epcot, although only 2 pictures from the AAR; how could you? :sad1: LOL~ j/k

Le Cellier's is so fantastic and I couldn't understand why until I ate there my first time. But, I must say how could you only split a cup of the cheese soup? At our anniversary dinner I think I ate a whole pot of it when our waiter kept refilling my bowl!

It was extremely helpful to read your review of Narcoossee's. We were scheduled there for our anniversary before we switched to the private one. I didn't really see anything that exciting on their menu to begin with anyway.

I loved reading your enthusiasm for seeing Wishes up close for the first time. It really is an amazing show!

I'm totally jealous that your wedding planner sent a note with the super cool lanyards! I just happened to bump into our planner near Franck's one day during our trip and all I got was a hug

Great fireworks pics!!!

Its so funny. I meet Bobbie that night and the Wilderness Lodge when her and hubby were waiting for the valet to get their car while Bobby and I were waiting for ours. I hear somebody calling my name and I look and she said Toni hey its Bobbie from the disboards..lol. So funny!

Gotta love a restaurant whose chef recommends a big plate of @ss.

:rotfl2: Good eye!

[<Ahem>
You know.
:headache:

:o

Wishes is good from other locations. . .but nothing beats Wishes from Main Street! We like to stand right near Casey's!

Ooh – good tip!

11 more days until we go...thanks for holding me over.

Oh good – then it’ll be your turn to hold ME over!

Oh. Mah. Gawd. I love you now. Look under my name over there. Conner even has a onesie that says "I go to eleven".

:rotfl: Unfortunately, T-Rex did not have a Stonehenge that was in danger of being crushed by a dwarf...

You got some great fireworks shots over the castle. Thanks for sharing them. And I agree with you about the Rainforest Cafe food, it's just not good. Oooh – I’ll have to try that. Any dessert with “volcano” in the title has gotta be good!

Whoa! That dessert at TRex...lol
You got some really good firework pics. Sounds like you guys had a great evening.

What I love is that both the regular camera pictures and the iPhone pix were decent.

Oh Carrie, your wishes pics are delightful!! What kind of camera do you own?? Love the lanyards and pins! So fun!

We have an ancient (like, 8 years old) Canon S230. We keep saying we should get a new one, but the old one does pretty well. It just isn’t as fast as newer cameras.

Last time Will and I went to Red Lobster, I stopped at the tank in the entryway on our way out, and told them - "Run while you still can!!"

:lmao:

Love the ice cream brick at T-Rex and the quippy pics. It saves me from having to eat there. Although, if I'm ever at WDW with my Rainforest Cafe lovin' pal, I'm sure he'll drag us over there to gawk. Sigh.

Would that be DH’s Best Man, who thinks that Rainforest Cafe is a happenin’ place for a bachelor party? :cutie:

Sounds like you guys had a great evening! We avoided T-Rex as I thoughout it might send us into a meltdown from sensory overload, but that nice, er, light dessert looks like it might be worth braving the cacaphony for! :thumbsup2

Yeah, and just the spectacle of it all! Also, I almost built my own dino – some of them are kinda cute...

Love the Wishes photos! My DS is scared of the fireworks so we always leave before all the nighttime shows. I LOVE looking at the pictures to see what I'm missing!

Poor lil’ guy! Even with earplugs? Here’s hoping he grows out of it soon....

We caught 3 meteor showers and all we ordered was 1 course!

That’s hilarious – it’s like, geez, the world ended THREE TIMES before we got the bill! :lmao:

Great firework pictures! How many did you end up taking ? We had like 200 and I only liked maybe 10 of those!

That is almost every pic we took – I think I left out about three of them. Again, I apologize for the copious amounts of photos. I could never be a photo editor!

Awwwwwwww, I loved reading about your romantic dinner (we never sit side by side at restaurants-maybe we should give it a try:thumbsup2 ).

I read somewhere that women prefer sitting next to their partners and men prefer sitting across (cuz they’re all about the visuals), so I’m always trying to get DH to sit next to me. When he gives in, it’s nice! :lovestruc

We never did get to see the fireworks at DL from in front of the castle......only from Fantasmic viewing area & from our room at the Grand. It kept getting cancelled because of wind.

OK, now you definitely have to come back! And soon – I hear they’re going to retire our fabulous modified 50th anniversary fireworks.

What kind of camera are you all using (besides the iPhone)? The pics are awesome.

It’s an old (8 years) Canon S230 point-and-shoot. I don’t know if they just don’t make ‘em like they used to or what. I’m kinda scared to get a new camera now!

Carrie! I usually lurk around your trip report but I have to say your review and pictures of TRex made me CRACK up out loud here at work. Everyone in my office thinks I'm crazy! :rotfl2:
Can't wait for another update.

Whohoo! I aim to crack you up! And also make the people in your office think you are crazy!

My laptop is off being fixed, so I am extremely behind. I love all the shots from your day in Epcot, although only 2 pictures from the AAR; how could you? :sad1: LOL~ j/k

If it makes you feel any better, I always think of your wedding now when I go to AAR!

But, I must say how could you only split a cup of the cheese soup?

Only cuz I knew I’d be getting another cup of it at *our* anniversary dinner. :teeth:

I'm totally jealous that your wedding planner sent a note with the super cool lanyards! I just happened to bump into our planner near Franck's one day during our trip and all I got was a hug

Don’t worry – our wedding planner would sooner hug a cactus than me! Our wedding consultant, on the other hand, didn’t have to work with me long enough to get to that stage. :rotfl2: I’m jealous of your hug! :thumbsup2

So funny!

That's crazy! So, technically, I was only one degree of separation from you even though we never saw you. And if Bobbie gave you a hug that night the way she hugged me, maybe I got some of your cooties! :rotfl:

WOW the dessert from T-Rex! now that looks GOOD! Did it taste good?

Love the shots of Wishes! beautiful!

Can't wait for the Anniversary day!

OK, now you definitely have to come back! And soon – I hear they’re going to retire our fabulous modified 50th anniversary fireworks.

Um, what? The one with the rides included? (I haven't seen any non-holiday fireworks other than the current one). In fact... I've only seen that one once, last summer.

*Looks for non-anniversary fireworks on YouTube*
