Return to the Scene of the Crime: The Lurkyloos’ First Anniversary at WDW! New VIDEO!

I took this from All Ears:

Stitch's SuperSonic Celebration" Dance Party Debuts

He's the Guru of Gross-Out, the Maker of Mischief. Now, everybody's favorite galactic pal stars in "Stitch's SuperSonic Celebration," a high-energy, retro-futuristic music video dance party in Magic Kingdom. The fun features Stitch, an interactive dance troupe and a DJ celebration host who invites all Tomorrowland guests to come party, dance and celebrate.

One word for this all :crazy2:

More rides! Not weird dance shows.

SOLD! Where's the closest Food Lion to L.A.? Like, Arkansas?

Not even that close, looks like KY or TN. Looks like they're in FL too! They have the cake in a double layer too! *insert drooling smiley here* It makes for good breakfast.

Yeah. What she said. Oh! And no more weird dance shows with performers who wear thigh-high white gogo boot spats and mega hair extensions...:scared1: Did you see the "artistic concept" illustration for the Stitch fiasco?! :rotfl:

Ok somehow I got 11 pages behind....11!

So I am trying to comment but don't remember some of it. I remember laughing often which is why I read all the pages!

I wanted to share two things, one I am rediculously slow today. While looking at your pictures of China I thought you said we would be looking at pictures of Canada. So I am scrolling through thinking..wow either Canada looks alot like China or our dear sweet author has lost her mind. Nope nope it was just the dumb reader. While I felt stupid I also felt the need to share.

Also my family does the hidden pickle in the christmas tree as well. I had no idea this was a German tradition. My mom was actually adopted from Germany and my grand parents lived there for several years so this must be where they picked it up. I never find the stupid pickle. Some young child does and gets to claim the winnings everytime.

Also I want cake...that is all thanks for the TR I am loving it.

We leave in 2 weeks, and you are inspiring me to change my photo opportunities. I have 8 Disney scrapbooks that encompass over 20 visits to the mouse (including our honeymoon 21 years ago) and I do tend to take the same pictures over and over again....but not this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You heard the lady, Carrie. Now you have to come visit us!

If you want, I can go there and try the cake first. I'll do it, but just for you. :thumbsup2

Where in KY do they have Food Lion? I'm from Paducah, lived in Louisville, and graduated from UK; DH is from Ashland. Never saw a Food Lion in any of those places!

Great update and pics, Carrie.
I love WDW at anytime of the year, but off season is great :D

I just had to jump in really fast and tell you that there's a Disney's Fairy Tale Wedding special on WE TV right now. It's 9pm EST, where I am, so check local listings! :)

Since we're always speaking of food & cake on here...

I admittedly am not a huge fan of cake. Of course, I've never let that small detail get in the way of the fork as it shovels copious amounts of it into my mouth...

That being said, the cake pictured below changed it all for me. Thank you Food Lion, for your precious chocolatey goodness. This icing is, BY FAR, the best I've ever had. It's like the softest fudge you could ever get. And the cake itself is delicious too. I like chocolate ok, and cake ok, and don't like icing (sorry Carrie, I'd rather have peach or blackberry cobbler!), but man, this cake sends me over the moon. Without further ado:

You'll have to excuse the photo, I begged my DH to take a pic before he cut it (he now has further proof to have me committed), and he complied, but didn't use the white sheets as a nice backdrop.

Ooh, girl! That looks yummy! I will have to go to Food Lion. They unfortunately closed most of them around here, but I'm sure I can find one. I know Knoxville still has a few left. :)

Yes! I took it out cuz I thought I might get in trouble to linking to a site that promotes my Disney weddings book. I'm glad you found it anyway!

I haven't found the blog yet. :headache: I need to do some more searching.

Ooh! Ooh! Do you have Utz potato chips too? I love me some Sour Cream & Onion Utz..... :cutie:

No, none of those. I'll keep an eye out, though!!

SOLD! Where's the closest Food Lion to L.A.? Like, Arkansas?

Guess this means you need to plan a trip to TN!

I've been coming back here all day...because I am impatient and want more updates. Man! It's like 'wait, Lurkyloo has a life? But, I need my updates!'. I am so selfish. Seriously tho, more please!

I read your wedding trip report and just loved it. When I see a Lurkyloo trip report I start right in. Side note your wedding pictures were beautiful. I just loved the colors they seemed to pop! Thanks so much for sharing your trips with us.

oh man i missed that. I would have liked to watch that. I like the Poor Bride/Rich Bride show (or maybe its the other way around:confused3 ) I'm sick of the Bridezillas...I'm sorry but if they act like that planning their wedding...especially that outrageous...then they are like that in real life. Those poor grooms...I hope they know what they are getting themselves into.:worship:

I've seen one near Lexington (in Paris, ooh la la). Looks like they're all out in the boonies.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled cake-related discussion.

Ok, you have officially made me have to have chinese food for lunch & we have no chinese that is decent around here. Guess I will have to settle for Healthy choice General Sho's from my freezer. :thumbsup2

I hate having problems with my feet....so I can sympathize with your bad start to this day. I get blisters on my heels really easy so I have to be extra careful. Good for Patrick for fixing you up.......he's a good hubby.

Amen to that!

They have the cake in a double layer too! *insert drooling smiley here* It makes for good breakfast.

Oooh! Oooh! There’s cake for breakfast coming up later in the trippie!

Yeah. What she said. Oh! And no more weird dance shows with performers who wear thigh-high white gogo boot spats and mega hair extensions...:scared1: Did you see the "artistic concept" illustration for the Stitch fiasco?! :rotfl:

BWAHAHAHAA! :rotfl2: Love the scare quotes too!

Aw, shucks, really! I can’t wait to hear how it tastes. And yes, I have to come visit you. In fact, looking at the readership of this trip report, I think I could do an entire Goodwill Tour throughout the South — making plenty of appearances Publix and Food Lion, of course!

So I am scrolling through thinking..wow either Canada looks alot like China or our dear sweet author has lost her mind.

:rotfl: And possibly BOTH!

That sounds like fun! I know what you mean about the same pix, though – there are some WDW spots we’re just drawn to over and over!

Great update and pics, Carrie.

Yes, I’m realizing more and more how lucky we are to be able to go in the off-season.

I just had to jump in really fast and tell you that there's a Disney's Fairy Tale Wedding special on WE TV right now. It's 9pm EST, where I am, so check local listings! :)

Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, we don’t have cable (no time – too much :surfweb: ) so I wasn’t able to watch it, but maybe it’ll turn up on YouTube at some point!

I've been coming back here all day...because I am impatient and want more updates. Man! It's like 'wait, Lurkyloo has a life? But, I need my updates!'. I am so selfish. Seriously tho, more please!

It’s coming! I’m typing it up right now!

Thank you so much! It is great to hear that you enjoy the trip reports! :goodvibes

My thoughts exactly! Although, in their defense, I have to say that the number of my freakouts decreased dramatically after the wedding.... :lmao:

uh?? Where is our update??:badpc:

Coming! Coming! Typing as fast as I can!

Wish granted, girlfriend!

WOWZA! Thanks! :thumbsup2 What other wishes can you grant? How about my wish for a solid gold house?

(And then I sat here trying to pick out a smiley to add, realized that half of them would be appropriate, at which point I got overwhelmed, just posted the %$#@ thing, and went to eat some cake.)
:rotfl2: I love it!

Ok, you have officially made me have to have chinese food for lunch & we have no chinese that is decent around here. Guess I will have to settle for Healthy choice General Sho's from my freezer. :thumbsup2

:rotfl: Sorry about that! What do you have a lot of around there? Southern food? I’ll try to work some Southern food into the next installment....

I hate having problems with my feet....so I can sympathize with your bad start to this day. I get blisters on my heels really easy so I have to be extra careful.

Yikes! And Disney is the worst place to have foot problems! Maybe that’s why so many of us DISers are obsessed by footwear... ;)

SciFi now has a Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake. "It was warm and a little bit crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside, with peanut butter mixed in throughout. Chocolatey and peanut-buttery"!

I don't know why, but this thread always makes me hungry :rolleyes1

I tried to convince myself that the tuna fish and ritz crackers I had for lunch are as good as cake. It didn't work :upsidedow
