Return Cruisers Gift

Hello,
When we went on our cruise last week, the return cruisers gift was a beach towel.
It is a really nice towel, it is in all red, white and blue with the DCL Logo on the top (Mickey head with the wavy lines) it says Disney Cruise Line and then Castaway Club in the middle in big letters, then on the two bottom corners are the names of the Magic and the Wonder.
It is a really beautiful and plush towel!

I was surprised when my DH said that he wanted to book another one, he is the one that said no more big vacations for a while!! But a 4 day isn't too big!!! LOL

Wasn't it surreal (I use that word alot now after "doing" the surial TWICE on board!!) to come back online and think to yourself, "I have the answers!!"? I've even amended my print out of the trip report to include more details to remember for "next time"!

I'm actually torn between a cruise just for DH and I soon or just fly straight to St. Thomas and book a room. We loved Coki Beach sooooo much and would love to explore St. Thomas and St. John at length!

As a matter of fact i jsut used that towel today when i went to the pool. It is a really good towel!!

I guess we'll end up with three towels when we do our three cruises back to back! We already have one from our last Wonder cruise...it is VERY nice. Oh well, I guess there's always Ebay for the spares...it will help pay off the obnoxious spa bill that I'm sure we'll be running up!

In May when we went on DCL our friends were repeat cruisers and they received the towel. I LOVE IT. I'm hoping they still have the towels when we go back in May 2003.

Hi Guys,
We are doing our second (first repeat) cruise. Wonder about the towels. Do they give them to everyone who repeating or only after a certain number or cruises? Does each person get one or just one per cabin?? Also, we have decided to book another cruise whilst on this one. I have already looked up the cost but am wondering if it is better to do it while you are on the ship rather than off it. Do I make sense? Thanks for your help. Looking forward to our 9/28 cruise. Woohoo!!!

The towels are one per stateroom (we will be getting three on one trip --I hope-- because we are doing three consecutive cruises). There is no certain number of trips you have to do...all repeat cruisers get the towels.
The advantage to booking on board is the stateroom credit. Other than that, the prices are the same.

I was quoted a price for a 4 day next December while still on the Magic and couldn't book right away because we had to check with our work for the dates, well when I got home I had my TA check the prices and it was $100.00 more then what the woman on the Magic quoted me. I even went on Disney.com and it was still $100.00 more there too.
Im mad now cause I am missing out on the $100.00 savings AND the $100.00 Stateroom credit!!

Yes we got the pins too, not with the towel though, Marlon (our stateroom host) handed them to us one day when we were in the hallway. We got two pins and one towel, I LOVE the towel!!

Yard Sale? No, with the way people want and bid on DCL merchandise, this calls for Sotheby's. Only after I purchase my towel from Barb and Tony of course.
