retreat

I had heard a rumor at one time a while back that WDW was thinking of not doing the retreat cerenony. Do they still do this? Plus I also heard that they sometimes would allow veterans assist in the ceremony, does anyone have any info on that? Thanks.

Veterans may inquire at City Hall on Main Street in assisting in taking down the American Flag during Flag Retreat usually at 5:00 daily.On some days I've seen a color guard take down American Flag.
