rethinking our schedule

We are going to HS on 9/23. We have breakfast at Play & Dine at 9:40 and dinner at 50's Prime time at 5:55pm. This is the only day we have for HS and we do not have hoppers so we can't get there another day. Should we give up our dinner and just do counter service? I am afraid we will have to wait so long to get a table since we are a party of 7. Free dining tends to make the restaurant more crowded. What would you do?

I would give up one or the other. TS meals take a big chunk of time and you don't have much as it is. I also find The studios one of the harder parks to see everything because so many things are on a schedule, which means say Indy is at 3 10 so I have to be careful what I get on before so I am done in time to get there and line up in time so I have to be careful from 1:ish on for example. possibly limiting my choices. I wouldn't loose 4 hours+ on 2 meals when I only have 1 day to tour.
