Resume writing tips!

Are there any sites or books out there that have any tips on writing a resume? Does anyone have any tips or advice on how I should do this? I am applying for a AAA travel agent position.

I was thinking the same question.
I am almost finished taking my travel course(I'm in Canada)
And I need to update my resume I had been running a daycare for the last 10 years so this is something very different for me.

There's about a million of those books out there.

As far as I can tell, nobody ever gets hired because of their resume. You can, however, get eliminated because of a bad resume. For some hilarious examples of bad stuff on resumes (and some good tips, too) go here:

Their best tip: don't clutter it up with functions and responsibilities; tell them about specific things you accomplished. For example, mine doesn't say "Proficient in PowerPoint;" mine says "Used PowerPoint presentations to help secure convictions in two first degree murder trials."
