I've never been to Universal before, so I'm sorry if this is old hat.

We're going to Universal on November 16-17 and I really want to try Mythos. I am assuming that it will be quite crowded and we'll need reservations of some sort.

Can you make reservations there? What number do you call or do you do it in person the day of?

Can we make reservations if we're not staying on site at Universal?

Hi caitycaity, and welcome to the Other Side!

Mythos is my favorite restaurant in the parks. You can call the 1-888-UESCAPE number for Universal, press zero and they can transfer you to reservations.

The nice lady I spoke to told me it's good to make ressies within the month you're coming and if you want to come in before 3pm. After 3pm they do accept walk ins. I walked in on my trip back in May and before 3 and had no problem but I guess it's better to be safe than sorry.

I just called and made a 3pm reservation. They were not taking reservations for after 3pm at all. I wonder if that is because they are all booked up or if it is because they may be closing early (Kelly Monaghan's book indicates that they close early during slow times). Silly me didn't even think to ask while on the phone... I think in my mind, I assumed that they were closing early.

Oh, well "Lunner" sounds nice (combo Lunch and Dinner) and that will leave room for dessert later on. LOL.

Oh and caitycaity... we'll be at HRH Nov 16 and 17. Maybe we'll see you around.
