Hey guys can you suggest me some nice restaurants in orlando for my trip sept. 1-7. Please suggest anything on disney or off-site. I just tried to get ps for cinderellas royal table but that didn't work. I'm looking for something nice and special, in which money is not an object. i'm staying at the courtyard lake buena vista marriott village so i can go off-site too. Just give me some good healthy places around the area. thanx

For 'nice' and 'special' and 'money no object' try Zen at Champion's Gate, Tchoup Chop at Universal's Royal Pacific resort, Arthurs's 27 at the Wyndham Palace (while it's still open!), or bluezoo at The Dolphin on Disney property.

Then there's McCormick and Schmick at Mall at Millenia, Atlantis at the Renaissance Resort, Dux or Capriccio at the Peabody Orlando resort, Norman's at Grande Lakes, Salt Island Chop House on I-Drive......Loads of fine dining in the area. The real problem is choosing which one to try first!

Are you talking lunch or dinner? What's the make-up of your party? What sort of thing are you looking for - I know you say 'special' and 'money no object', but do you want upscale, somewhere for all the family, romantic?

We've been to many of those Cleo mentions. My current upscale favourites are bluezoo (WDW Dolphin), Victoria & Albert's (Grand Floridian), California Grill (Contemporary) Norman's (Ritz-Carlton Grand Lakes), Ruth's Chris (Sand Lake Road, although there are various locations), Old Hickory Steakhouse (Gaylord Palms).

A bit less sophisticated, but equally as enjoyable, are Salt Island Chophouse and Fish Market (I-Drive), McCormick and Schmick's, Cheesecake Factory (both with outlets at both the Mall at Millenia and Winter Park), Primo (JW Marriott, Grande Lakes).

A few we haven't eaten at for a couple of years, but would go back to are Emeril's (CityWalk), The Palm (Hard Rock Hotel), Flying Fish Cafe (BoardWalk), Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge), Citricos (Grand Floridian). The first time we ate at Tchoup Chop, we loved it, but we were extremely disappointed on our second visit.

I could go on and on - you've hit on my favourite topic!

I highly recommend Seasons 52, especially since you mentioned healthy in your request. This was, hands down, one of the best dining experiences we've had in the Orlando area. The reason the restaurant is called Seasons 52 is to indicate the number of weeks in a year with the idea being that something different is in season each and every week. These are the ingredients that are used at Seasons 52. Fresh, healthy ingredients in the most delectable presentations you can imagine. It's located in the West Sand Lake Road restaurant enclave north of WDW heading toward Universal. Excellent dining.

Glad you enjoyed Salt Island Chophouse, UKDEB! ;) It's pricy, but the food is terrific.

Just wanted to add the option of Cafe Tu Tu Tango. It's not really what you would call 'upscale', but the food is fabulous and the atmosphere is definitely one you will remember. It's like being in an artist colony, with real artists doing their work right there in the restaurant. Quite the memorable experience, and you can buy art right off the wall if you are so inspired (or if you've had too many of their martinis!).
