Restaurants Near Boardwalk

So, I am in the preliminary planning stages for an October trip with DH for our anniversary.

What are some of the better restaurants in the Boardwalk area for a nice anniversary dinner?

Flying Fish cafe is very nice. :yes:

I'd avoid the Big River Grille and the Yacht Club Galley (or whatever it is called now).

You could always book the Bistro in France. It's at the WS of course, but not far from the boardwalk at all.

I'll second the Yachtsmen Steakhouse and Flying Fish. And make sure they know it's for a special occassion....sometimes they do nice things for you!

I've found a hidden gem in the Swan. Il Mulino. Excellent Italian food. Easy walk from the Boardwalk. Cool looking restaurant.

My DH & I are going to Yachtsman for the first time our next trip. I've heard great things about it.

I love Spoodles, but I don't think it would be the best anniversary date place. I haven't been to the others yet to judge.

Is it really good? It's funny because Il Mulino (one of the originals) is around the block from us here in NY but I will probably get to the one in WDW first

I say for seafood Flyin Fish. Yachstmen steakhouse is supposed to be good we are trying it in June. Blue Zoo is also very good and a cool place as well.

We go to the Yachtsman every trip and love it. We'll be there next Saturday night as a matter of fact. It is a little more formal than most other restaurants mentioned above but the food is superb.
