Restaurants in walking distance

If we were staying at the Carousel what restaurants are available within walking distance outside the parks?

Two that we've tried within walking distance were Mimi's Cafe, just to the north of you, great selection and reasonable prices (about like TGIF's or Applebee's prices) and Tony Roma's.

Here is a link that you can hopefully open. It is acrobat reader and has a map of restaurants around Disneyland. The closest ones to the Carousel are IHOP, Denny's and Tony Roma's.

Oh good - IHOP and Denny's sounds good for dining with a little one. How about fast food?

There is a McDonnalds just down the street a bit. Definately with in walking distance. It is next to the Park Inn and the Fairfield Inn.
There is a Subway down the other way at the intersection of Harbor and Katella. Also in walking distance.

Definitely check out Mimi's restaurant! It's got good food and reasonable prices. We were there with people with special needs and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. We also found the portions quite large and often split meals.

If you go a little further down on Harbor Blvd. to Garden Grove, there is a Joe's Crabshack that we really enjoyed. The food and service was great and they also had a woman that made balloon animals/hats etc. that was a big hit with the kids.
