Hi everybody!

We will be checking in AKL to celebrate our Wedding at the world in less than 3 weeks!! :cool1: We are on the Deluxe Dining plan and have a bunch of reservations for lunch and dinner for our week stay. We are not big on TS for breakfast and usually just go the hotels food court before heading out to play, but I would like to do 1 or 2 TS breakfast for this trip. We tried Cape May once and was lovely, but would like something different. Are their any locations that stand out for unique options for breakfast? Please help me! Thanks so much! If you have any pictures and are willing to share, I would appreciate that too! :thumbsup2

Congrats on your upcoming marriage!

Some of our favorites are Boma at AKL, Crystal Palace at MK (we try to get an 8:05 ADR on a day the park opens at 9:00 so we are done by rope drop), and Kona at Poly. Tusker House at AK is supposed to be similar to Boma, but we haven't eaten there. We also liked O'Hana at Poly.

Boma, O'Hana and CP are buffets. You order off the menu at Kona.

If you want to see characters: Tusker House @ AK - The food is fantastic. They have the usual breakfast suspects - eggs, mickey waffles, bacon, etc. They also have some really tasty unique offerings. The roasted ham at the carving station is excellent. The location is also perfect. We plan our ADR before the park opens, fill up, then you are steps away from the safari. :)
For a character free meal - KONA - The Tonga Toast and Kona coffee.:cloud9:

My DH and I love Tusker House. We for the food not the characters, the selections are pleniful and the juice is amazing!

Crystal Palace--make it prior to park opening and you can get pictures w/ the castle and not a ton of people around.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions! I forgot to mention that we have also done the Crystal Palace, but never for breakfast and the fiancee does not like it at all. The food to me was ok, but nothing special. Either way, I was trying to convince him to do try it for breakfast since we will be going to MK that day, but he is completely against it. We might go with Kona, the menu sounds yummy. We are also thinking of doing Tusker House. Can't wait! Less than 3 weeks to go! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Kona, Ohana, Tusker House and Crystal Palace were all really good.

We have had dinner at Crystal Palace and we didnt care for it at all so that is why we decided to try breakfast and loved it, plus it is great going into an almost empty MK early in the morning.

Boma has a great breakfast! I hear Cape May, CP and the wave has good breakfast as well

Ohana has a great character breakfast and Kona has amazing tonga toast and macadamia nut pancakes

Ive always wanted to try WGPE for breakfast I saw a pic of the cornflake encrusted french toast that looked devine! Of course I have a thing for french toast tho..

Seriouslt go to Boma, its wonderful and will be so convienent since your staying at AKL

Now, I really want to try Boma. We originally had reservations for lunch, but cancelled because we were afraid that we might not like some of the things on the menu. Now, I think we might have to try it out. I appreciate everyones feedback! Thanks so much!!:thumbsup2

We really love the breakfast at Tusker House and CP. We always do both before the parks open and I agree, get amazing shots of the castle while no one is on Main Street. Everyone at home wonders how we get that shot. CP has a great station that makes omelettes or eggs for you how you want them and the guava juice at Tusker House is outstanding!! They are a MUST every time we visit.

I think breakfast is dependent on where you are staying. If I was at AKL, I would go to Boma more than once!!

When I stayed at Beach Club, I was missing the food court I am used to with the values and moderates, so I ate at Captain's Grille, Kouzzana and of course at Cape May. They were all great, but I wouldn't make the trip just for them.

I think your best bets are to pick places at the parks (such as Tusker House) or go to Boma. Have a fun trip! :goodvibes

Kona a must for us but I like Crystal Palace I always book before park opens and you can get in early....
