Hello,
I would appreciate any suggestions on places to eat with a 5 yo princess who is on her first trip so far I have:

-Cindy's Royal Table
-Chef Mickey's
-Sci Fi Diner
-Ohana (not character)
-Whispering Canyon
-Biergarten (not sure about this one)

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Thanks

My just turned 6 niece love the Princess Breakfast, Coral Reef because of the fish (but she hated the food), Crystal Palace breakast

Personally, I'd drop WCC -- awful food and service (and none of the "antics" going on the evening we were there).

I would definitely add Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends for a 5-year old princess.

I second Akurshus. I would also recommend 50's over Sci-Fi. 50's has better food and is a lot of fun. Sci-Fi's food is not nearly as good IMO but the atmosphere is worth checking out once.

Garden Grill has great character interaction.

I agree with Akershus. We went for lunch and really liked it!! We did CRT and really liked both. We are doing both again in May! You could do 1900 Park Fare dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming, the stepmother & stepsisters. DD also liked 1900 Park Fare breakfast, it had Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh, Tigger & Mary Poppins. DD at the time wanted to see Alice so that is why we went.

We're doing Akershus for breakfast for my DD who'll be a few days shy of 4 when we go!

My DD absolutely loves CRT, Akershus and Biergarten. She ranks Biergarten equal to the Princess meals and above all other character meals. If you are doing breakfasts, the Tusker House character breakfast at AK has good food and fun characters.

Its not princess but my son loves CP and Tusker House. Another one is 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella and step sister...interaction is great but the food not so great.

1900 Park Fair..she could dance with Prince Charming! Excellent character interaction. I thought the food was good but I was so sick of eating by that point in the trip that I didn't eat much.

we loved CRT when we went in 2008, but we went to Princess Storybook Breakfast last year and it was wonderful. Great princesses and great food.

My girls LOVE LOVE Crt, Chef Mickeys, and Ohanas. They never have done Sci fi but we are trying it for lunch this year. They thought Whispering Canyon and Biergarten were fun. but didn't really talk about them after. The other places my girls really LOVE are Crystal Palace, and 1900 Park Fare. Have a magical time she will have a blast.

1900 park fare is a MUST! We are going again this year! My DD4 danced with prince charming and beamed for days afterward! We didn't do Akershaus, we should have and will be this trip hands down! Chef Mickey's was also a blast, we did breakfast and loved it. I have friends who just got back that did dinner, they said that was really great as well!

Have a great trip!

My DD was 5 on our trip last year. I just asked her what her favorites were and she said TRex in DTD, 1900 Park Fare (dinner), breakfast at 'Ohana with Lilo and Stitch, and of course Cinderella's castle. She also enjoyed Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

I'd save Sci-Fi for a return trip and do Akershus instead. We've done the Akershus dinner twice and it will be on our must-do list for all future trips because it's fun when all the princesses come around (big fun for 5 yr old princesses, but even fun for adults).

Akershus
1900 PF - Breakfast - Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland
Crystal Palace
Cape May Cafe - Breakfast - Minnie

We went last year when my daughter was 5.
Her favorites were:

1900 Park Fare (breakfast and dinner)
CRT lunch
Akershus breakfast
'Ohana breakfast (she loves Lilo and Stitch)

She also did the Wonderland tea party and absolutely loved it. There were 8 little girls and her group ranged from 4-6 years old. She still talks about that.
