Do you need a park reservation to eat at a restaurant in Park. Specifically yak and Yeti at AK. We are only doing one day at AK and it is the last before we leave to go home the next day so I thought maybe we could do it earlier in the week if we can get in with out a park reservation for another day.

You need a park reservation or park hopper tickets (for after-2PM dining) to eat at Y&Y.

You need a park reservation to enter any Disney theme park. If your park reservation is not for DAK, it must be for one of the other 3 theme parks and you must have entered that other theme park before hopping to DAK after 2 pm.

Do you have Park Hopper? If yes, you can eat at Yak and Yeti after going to another park. If no, then yes you need a reservation for AK to eat there

No we don't. I'll try to reserve for the last day then.

@gonitts: You might want to consider joining Landry's. It's a onetime $25 fee and you get $25 off your first use of the card, so it's basically free. With the Landry's card, you can go to Yak & Yeti without a reservation and get seated usually pretty quickly. If it's super crowded, you might have to wait a while, but we've waited only once for more than 10 or 15 minutes.

You just go up to the front stand, show them your Landry's card, and they will prioritize seating for you.

This solves your getting-an-ADR dilemma.
