I just got off of the phone with Disney Dining. The CM told me that they have just received notice that most of the restaurants have been added back in for 2007. She specifically mentioned the following:

Fulton's (platinum plan)
Alfredo's
Chef de France
Teppanyaki's
Portebello's
Rainforest Cafe
Wolfgang Puck's Cafe
San Angel Inn

She said that the others were back, too. :cool1:

Funny I was just wondering about that. I only noticed Cap'n Jack's for Downtown. I was hoping they were going to add some restaurants but it seems less. Hope that will change. Keeping my pixie fingers crossed!

The rainforest cafe is that just for DTD or AK or for both?

Is Rainforest Cafe? I didn't think it was on the plan before. Please let me know because my dd8 really wants to go there.

Maybe OP meant Planet Hollywood :confused3 I would love for RFC to be included now though!

It wasnt on the plan for 2006 so maybe they are adding it? I hope so to because me and DH are gonna eat at the one in DTD the day we go to AK. We never been to DTD before or RFC and we wanna try it. Im hoping it is on the dining but if not, I'll just use my planned credit for a breakfast instead and just pay OOP for RFC.

I think everyone would love to have that included. I mean why waste credits when the food at PH isnt all the great (at least the one in MD) and you get a meal voucher with your package. All you would have to do is pay OOP for the rest of the meals. I think more ppl go to RFC then PH anyways.

Thank you for the update. Portobello's was never on the plan before. If it's added it may be the push I need to use the DP again.

I'm thinking these might all be restaurants added to the Platinum Plan. It's unclear in the OP, but I know RFC was on the platinum plan previously. Hopefully, we'll get an official announcement soon.

I really wish they would figure this out as we are trying to plan a big family reunion/vacation and I had been touting the DDP until the list came out with several places we planned to go getting the Axe. Any idea when the official 2007 line-up will be out/finalized?

I agree. This doesn't sound like a list of Dining Plan restaurants. Platinum Plan sounds about right.

None of the non-Disney restaurants were included in the online brochure for the premium plan. The fact that some of them are now being added back for the premium plan tends to suggest some of them will be added for MYW Dining as well.

I wonder if Fulton's might be added as a signature restaurant. RFC has a lot of items that are sized for sharing. They almost need a special menu or a lot of footnotes if they're going to be participating.

Debs site lists the WS places, and a few at DTD, as in PH, raglan road, cookes of dublin, Earl, Wolfgang express, and cafe. Food quest. There is nothing stating RFC is on the plan, or fultons. I am sure fultons is a plat plan dining as it is not listed on the updated list of dining menus back on the plan, also portobellos is not listed as on the plan. There is an updated as of yesterday list on Debs site for what is now back on the plan in all parks, and DTD. I am going to have to call and see if I can get my other choice now that it has been added back. :bride:

Thank you. Funny...Deb has her site updated before Disney!

No problem at all you are very welcome. I know there are a few of us who were waiting to see what happend with the plan. Now that they have settled I can look over my plans and adjust if there is times still open. I hope there are We are going start of feb first time for our Honeymoon, and I was really worried cause I read things book fast fast. I hope I can still get a couple of places I was waiting to hear about. :bride:

I have a friend going next month. He was able to book Rainforest Cafe at AK with the dining plan. He was told the one in DD is not participating, but the one at AK is.

I am definitely looking for the finalized plan.

We go in January and I already have ADRs for Cap'n Jacks. Since we will have the Premium Plan, our first choice would have been Fulton's (covered under the Prem Plan in late 2005) or Wolfgang Puck's (Cafe covered in 2006).

I also would like to make a decision if I am going to change Garden Grill lunch ADRs. Now that San Angel Inn and Restaraunt Marrakesh are back on, I might change. Or maybe Coral Reef again.....? Such hard choices! LOL :confused3

I have an ADR for Coral Reef, but with everything I heard on it I am now thinking maybe I should cancel it and try to grab another place we wanted that at first was not on the plan. Wolfgang is back on the plan, and I know from deb's site RFC was not listed now I am just stating from Deb's site, but she seems to be up to date and pretty keyed in on what is going on. You might want to call cause this is for the 07 dining plan the basic one not the prem, or plat RFC is not listed as being on the basic plan only PH for themed type of dining. :bride:

Not really. Disney's got to be a lot more careful (methodical, process-oriented) about what they put up on their website and when, since folks expect a far greater level of accuracy of the information there since it is the "official" website.
