This thread is too funny, because I was going to post a restaurant vent thread this morning! 
Yesterday was DDs birthday and she wanted to go to IHOP for dinner. The restaurant was about 1/3 full (if that) and they had LOTS of wait staff. Our waitress was Cha-Cha and she had a male trainee with her. Cha-Cha was a very bad waitress, which meant that she was training the trainee to be a very bad waiter.
When they delivered food they asked "Is everything okay?" (we hadn't taken a bite) then disappeared for the duration of the meal. They never even glanced at us again. After waiting a while for the check we started to stand up, at which time Cha Cha drug herself over with our check.
