Hello ladies!

I'm planning our March 2015 wedding and looking for suggestions for our rehearsal dinner and for a brunch, lunch or dinner after the ceremony (very undecided on this lol). Ceremony will be at the Swan (not an official DFTW bride). We'd like to stay in the Epcot Resort area for reception but I am more flexible on rehearsal dinner location. There will be approximately 20 people for both meals.

Thank you!!!

I got married at the Swan in 2011. We got married on a Sunday We had our welcome dinner at 1900 Park Fare on Friday night. Saturday night we had a dinner for our bridal party and family at the Biergarten in Epcot/Germany, followed by an Epcot Illuminations Dessert Party. We had between 16-23 guests at these events and they were perfect locations for us :)

I'm looking to be a March 2015 bride too! I'm looking at about 20 guests as well.
My planning is all over the place. I've looked at getting an ADR at Captains Grille or Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club Resort.

Have you bought Passporter's Disney Weddings book? It's a great resource for planning events like that.

Thanks ladies! I definitely think I'll get the book, but waiting to get the ring first :rotfl:. We've been "planning" for a couple weeks and the ring is on the table, literally, in its box. Just waiting for it to get on my finger. Torture!!!

For rehearsal dinner, I have thought of:
ESPN
O'Hana
Cape May

For reception:
Garden Grove
Fresh
Il Mulino
Captain's Grille
Bluezoo

We recently got married at the swan& had our reception for 23 people at Il Mulino!

It was amazing. The food was so delicious. We could not fault them at all! We had a private room which was lovely, plus we had the outside are for cocktail hour while hubby & I had photos, the food & booze was amajor hit with our guests!!

If you want to know more feel free to ask :)

Congratulations! Im interested in ll Mulino
for our lunch after the ceremony. I was wondering if the do a set menu for your guest and how long do you get the private room for?

Yep we did the set menu for our guests about $65 a head and they could choose anything of that menu.
We had the room from 7pm and I believe we left about 10 but I think we could have stayed all night.
There was a minimum spend we had to reach & it depends on which room size you choose. So I think my minimum spend was $1500.

Do you know the lowest min? And how many are allowed in the rooms? Also, was the food min inclusive of food and drinks, taxes too? Just curious, because I'm not sure we are close to that before taxes and tip.

Thank you thank you!

I think the lowest is $1500 for a max people of 25. I could be wrong. If you make contact with Il Mulino they will give you all the information.
The cheapest set meal starts at $50-55 a head I believe for a 2/3 course meal.
And the minimum is inclusive of drinks.
Unfortunately I just deleted all the documentation that was sent to us during our planning of the wedding.

Definitely recommend ringing/emailing Il Mulino to get some information. They are really helpful I dealt with Erica but I think she is doing a different role now but I believe Julia is looking after things now, again could be wrong. But definitely recommending making contact with them,

We had our reception at the Garden Grove and loved it.

We had our rehearsal at TREX - it was amazing!

We had our welcome dinner (no rehearsal) at the Turf Club Grill at Saratoga Springs Resort. Not a traditional choice, but it was lovely - quiet and private and delicious food!!!
Our reception dinner was at Citrico's and it was perfect!!!
We also had a girly tea at the Garden View Tearoom and boy's lunch at 'Beaches and Cream. All were excellent!!!
