From the first time that I saw WL I've wanted to stay there, it's really beautiful. I'm hoping to be able to get reservations at the Villas during early December in a couple of years, I would love to see the Christmas decorations. My only problem is, it's like pulling teeth to get my DH to go to Disney, he's not much of a Disney fan. I usually travel with my sister but she won't take off work that time of year, so i'll have to find someone else to go with me.

Having stayed there last week I can highly recommend it. I would definately stay there again, just make sure you have a savannah view, so worth it!!

DH wants to stay at the Poly. I want a savannah view at AKL. It's savannah (no bunk beds ) or nothing.
But give me a good rate and I will stay anywhere on site.
I would also like some day to stay at BLT.
We have stayed at Cont, MK view, a few times. And actually Bay Lake side looks awfully calming.
I have had great stays, from the ASMo to GF concierge. Quite often it's not the resort or the room. It's the trip itself.

For those who like WL, have you done the hidden Mickey hunt at AKL? In case someone has not heard of it, go to the front desk and ask them for the hidden Mickey list. They should know what you are referring to and give you a paper with hints showing the many hidden Mickeys around the lodge.

Not for this December, I'm sure they are all booked. But if we pick an off season time we shouldn't have a problem, or we could try for next December. I would have to wait till the 7 month period to book since I don't own VWL. I would probably book at my home resort and try to switch over once 7 months opens up.

This sounds like fun.

What is your favorite RESORT TS? What do you recommend to order there?

My favorite resort TS is the California Grill at the Contemporary!!

My favorite meal is:

Appetizer-An order of flat bread-it's made 4 different ways
Salad-Simply heirloom tomatoes
Entree-Oak-fired fillet of beef
Dessert-Any one of them they are all fabulous!!!

This is a great place to eat with spectacular views of the MK!! And their wine list is awesome!!

Several offsite hotels.
AKL with Savannah View.
Wilderness Lodge.
Yacht Club.

What Disney resort would you like to stay at that you have NOT stayed at before?

I have always wanted to stay at the Poly but not got round to it yet.....but we will be staying there for 4 nights next month!

My fave resort TS would be the Filet Mignon I had at the Yachtsmen Steakhouse...however we had a bad server the time we were there so my decision was on the food.

I haven't eaten at many of the resort restaurants though but with 2 weeks free dining coming up that is going to change.

I haven't eaten at many resort TS. I've eaten at Ohana's & Chef Mickey'sfor breakfast & WC for dinner. CM is a buffet, and the Ohana breakfast was one of those skillet things. WC is OK.

That is next on our "to buy" list, but figure we should stay there once first....so that is the next place to stay.
And....can't buy anything until this house sells!!
