The idea is to have people post their updates in the threads and then we will make one list here in the first post and keep all the info current on the top of the board.

ADR CM not accepting reservations for Tusker House (Donald's Safari Breakfast) as of Aug. 1. She said she had no idea when it will be open.

We were notified that our Teppan Edo reservations for Food & Wine Festival in mid-October have been cancelled, so it's not looking too hopeful for an October opening either. What is the problem over there?! All the ressies for other desireable events are gone at this point, so we have a huge hole in our schedule. Blah!

October 22nd. I was told that it's not "impossible" that reservations will reopen sometime before the event... but that no reservations will be taken for Teppan Edo again until the venue is actually open. The supervisor said this was prevent what happened before, where they took reservations and then felt obligated to provide alternate premium reservations for disappointed diners when construction wasn't completed on time. I was advised to keep calling back to check the status on a weekly basis.

...and called to see if I could get into LeCellair , which I have had no success with until today.(we'll be there on Sept. 22), they transfered me to another dept where I had no problem getting my requested time at Le Cellair and they gave me a choice!!!! How did that happen??? Also got the VIP seats for illuminations. Hooray!!!

You Too??!!?! I had reservations for Sept.25 at 6:00pm - my 1st choice replacement was LeCelleir too! I had picked out 2nd, 3rd and 4th choices just in case. As it turned out they were able to give me the exact same time I had at my 1st choice restaurant! And I got the VIP seating for Illuminations too!
Does anyone where the VIP seating might be?

I called to make an ADR for December and asked about Yak and Yeti, the reservationist told me that they are not taking reservations right now because of the fiasco that happened with the Japanese/Chinese?? restaurant. They took reservations with the plans that the restaurant would be open in October, but when construction/remodel took longer, they had to call 2 months worth of reservations and cancel them all and try to put everyone somewhere else. They did not want to make that mistake again with any other newly opening/remodeled restaurants, so they will not open reservations until they are absolutely sure they have an opening date as the construction/remodel progresses. So she suggested to just keep calling and calling.

May have to wait and take chances with a walk-up; I left it out of our plans. It will be interesting to see how they handle this if Y&Y/Tusker House open on schedule. I'm sure they will fill the place even on short notice of opening.

Was our favorite CS restaurant in AK - loved the food; having a drink outside; and enjoying the entertainment. And, since my daugther is is a wheelchair, we'd hang out in the wheelchair viewing section out front and wait for the parade.

What I have heard is that they are making it into a character meal. I am very unhappy

The rumor here onthe boards is that when it reopnes it will have a Jungle book character breakfast not sure what will be avialable for other meals.

I Never Got To Eat At Restrautasaurus...hopefully Tusker House Will Follow Suit. I Have Always Heard Restaurantasaurus Was Great Fun!

I have a ADR for 24 Oct. I call once a week (they must hate me!) and keep getting told that it will be open (they usually put me on hold and go ask a manager or supervisor)

UPDATED: Just called again. Was told that it's opening Oct 15 and my reservation will be fine....hmmmm (and a lot of arrgghh!)

Teppan Edo Rehab - Update 9/16/07
Reports are now coming in that Reservations through Nov. 22 are being cancelled and rescheduled. Also, no new reservations for this restaurant will be taken until it is actually open.

Where's date of the 22 November coming from? all previous posts, even one from Today, say that they spoke to a CM said that it will be open on 15 October.

Hmmm.... I have a ressis Nov 11 I am wondering if I should call them, but I do not want to miss out on an offer, but do not want to miss out on a good ressie either - UGH! They told me when I made it, they would be open Oct, like the other postes said. I know there are delays.
