Restaurant fundraising nights (booster club)

This helps a ton, thanks. I'm going to start dialing for dollars tomorrow.

Another question - we do not yet have 501(c) nonprofit status for our booster group - do the restaurants ask for that or care?

Check to see if you can use the schools non-profit #.

Our schools do Chik fil A Night as well as Ci Ci's pizza night. It is a great way to earn extra money for your school and gives parents and "excuse" to go out to eat.

My niece's high school band had 4 days last week to raise funds with Pizza Hut.
You bring in the coupon and the band gets 20% of the order. They made quite a bit.

My sister is a preschool teacher. Our local McDonalds allowed the school to purchase $1 McDonalds coupons for 50 cents each. You had to pay up front for the coupons, but each coupon gave the preschool 50 cents in profit. This went very well. They sold out of 1000 coupons in 3 days and made $500 profit.

Our PTU does a couple of these each year. We usually have a Burger King night and this past spring had a Max and Erma's night. We also had a local ice cream shop participate in one. The ice cream shop one ran for two days. You have a special flyer or coupon that you need to present. You get that from the restaurant and just have tons of copies made and give them to anybody and everybody ahead of time. I think for each of the fundraisers we received 20% profit. Good luck! :sunny:
