I purchased a $25 restaurant.com certificate, do I have to select a resyaurant and then print?

Select a restaurant. Print out your certificate. Take it to your restaurant of choice. Let the server know you have a certificate. Enjoy your meal. Give the certificate to the server when you get your bill.

Just so I am clear, you buy the cirtificate for $25 and it is worth $50 in the restaurant you choose? Almost seems too goo to be true. There has to be some catch or is there?

Which type of certificate did you buy? If it was just a regular certificate, you would have chosen the restuarant at that time. If you bought a gift certificate, thne it should ahve a link for you to go into to redeem and choose a restaurant at that time.

If you have the gift certificate, note that you can only pick out a $25 or less certificate. Found that out last week. I had 2 $10 gift certificates. I wnated to use one to buy a certificate for House of Blues w/ the 80% off promo code which would be $2. I thought the gidt certificate was like cash, and I could jsut spend $2 of it and get the certificate. Nope! All I can get is a $10 certificate, and I can combine gift certificates to get a more expensive one. Oh, Well! At least I didn't pay for the gift certificates! I did get a Cold Stone Creamery one and may splurge on a pie or cake.

OMG I WISH our CS took res.com certificates! :)

Remember Restaurant.com always has discount codes on the certificates,as low as 50% and up to 90%,so if you buy a $25 certificate that costs $10 to purchase your cost will be $1-$5.You then take it to the restaurant you chose which is going to have requirements on its use,for example you have to spend $35 or $50 and an 18% gratuity will be included.Another thing is you should show it to the server as you're sat to make sure they're still accepting them and for them to call it in to make sure it's a valid certificate. If for whatever reason the restaurant stops accepting them, don't worry as a quick call to restaurant.com will give you credit for a new certificate for another restaurant.
